COMCAST SPORTSNET TO PRESENT DAILY WIZARDS SHOW NEXT WEEK, BEAL SPECIAL TO DEBUT OCT. 6

Bethesda, Md. (Sept. 26, 2014) – Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic will present “Wizards Central: Training Camp,” a daily show covering the start of Washington Wizards training camp, Sept. 29 through Oct. 3. A special on Bradley Beal, “The Real Beal,” will debut Oct. 6 at 6:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., surrounding live coverage of the team’s preseason opener at Chicago.

“Wizards Central: Training Camp” will provide comprehensive news, analysis, interviews and inside access covering the Wizards’ annual media day and first four days of on-court sessions. Hosted by Chris Miller, the half-hour program will feature Wizards Insider J. Michael and other special guests, including players, coaches and management. “Wizards Central: Training Camp” will be presented at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 29 through Oct. 2 p.m., and at 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 3.

“The Real Beal” will feature the Wizards’ third-year guard in his hometown of St. Louis during this past offseason. The half-hour program, led by Miller, will include appearances by Beal’s family and a visit to his high school, where he hosted a summer basketball youth camp. In addition to its debut on Oct. 6, “The Real Beal” will be presented as an encore multiple times.

Comcast SportsNet’s four-game schedule of Wizards preseason coverage, which begins Oct. 6 when they visit the Bulls at 8 p.m., also includes home games versus Detroit on Oct. 12 (1 p.m.) and Charlotte on Oct. 17 (7 p.m.), and will conclude with the second annual Baltimore Classic against New Orleans on Oct. 20 (7 p.m.) Comcast SportsNet’s regular-season schedule will start with the Wizards’ season opener Oct. 29 at Miami (7:30 p.m.) and will include all but one nationally televised game.
