CHARLES “PEANUT” TILLMAN AND DAVE WANNSTEDT JOIN COMCAST SPORTSNET’S ROSTER OF EXPERT BEARS CONTRIBUTORS
Tillman to make weekly appearances on ‘SportsTalk Live’ and ‘SportsNet Central’ on Mondays;
Wannstedt to appear on ‘SportsNet Central’ every Thursday;
Chicago, IL (September 26, 2014) – Comcast SportsNet, the television home for the most comprehensive coverage of the Chicago Bears, has announced it has added Bears cornerback CHARLES “PEANUT” TILLMAN and former Bears head coach DAVE WANNSTEDT to its roster of expert Bears contributors, which already include Bears linebackers LANCE BRIGGS and JON BOSTIC, along with former Bears quarterback JIM MILLER.
Beginning Monday, September 29 and every Monday throughout the NFL season, Tillman, who has been placed on injured reserve for the season with a torn right triceps, will make weekly panel appearances on SportsTalk Live presented by The Chevy Silverado (airs at 5:30 PM CT hosted by David Kaplan) to discuss and breakdown the previous day’s game, along with his thoughts on how the Bears match-up against their next opponent. In addition, Tillman will also make weekly appearances every Monday on the network’s nightly sports news desk SportsNet Central presented by AT&T U-verse at 6:30PM and GMC SportsNet Central at 10:00 PM. NOTE: When the Bears play on either Monday or Thursday night this season, Tillman will appear on both SportsTalk Live and SportsNet Central the following day.
Beginning Thursday, October 2, Wannstedt will make weekly appearances every Thursday night throughout the NFL season on SportsNet Central presented by AT&T U-verse at 6:30PM and GMC SportsNet Central at 10:00 PM. Wannstedt, who has been coaching in either the collegiate or pro ranks since 1975, will be breaking down key plays on the network’s SMART Board® from the Bears previous game, along with the previous week’s key plays from games involving their upcoming opponent.
With the additions of Tillman and Wannstedt as the newest Comcast SportsNet Bears contributors, the network now showcases the following weekly appearances by these NFL experts:
SUNDAY: JON BOSTIC on SportsNet Central: Inside the Huddle at 10:30 PM
MONDAY: CHARLES “PEANUT” TILLMAN on SportsTalk Live at 5:30 PM & SportsNet Central at 6:30 & 10:00 PM
TUESDAY: LANCE BRIGGS on The Lance Briggs Show presented by GWC Law at 10:30 PM
THURSDAY: DAVE WANNSTEDT on SportsNet Central at 6:30 & 10:00 PM
FRIDAY: JIM MILLER on SportsNet Central: Playbook with Jim Miller at 10:30 PM
