PREMIER LEAGUE

NBC Sports Group’s coverage of the 2014-15 Premier League season continues this Saturday beginning at 6:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN with Barclays Premier League Preview, followed by Premier League Live at 7 a.m. ET, and Burnley vs. Manchester United at 7:45 a.m. ET. The action continues throughout the day with Manchester City vs. Stoke City on NBCSN at 10 a.m. ET, and Everton vs. Chelsea at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC. Following the Everton vs. Chelsea, Premier League Goal Zone will highlight the best plays and moments of the day at 2:30 p.m. on NBC.

Sunday’s Premier League action begins at 7:30 a.m. ET with Premier League Live on NBCSN followed by Tottenham vs. Liverpool at 8:30 a.m. ET. Premier League continues on NBCSN at 11 a.m. ET with Leicester City vs. Arsenal, followed by Premier League Goal Zone at 1 p.m. ET. Sunday’s Match of the Day begins at 1:30 p.m. on NBCSN.

Rebecca Lowe hosts Premier League Live and Premier League Goal Zone alongside former Jamaican National Team player Robbie Earle and former Premier League footballer Robbie Mustoe.

NBC’s lead Premier League play-by-play announcer Arlo White hosts Saturday’s Everton vs. Chelsea game alongside Lee Dixon.

On Monday at 6 p.m. ET, NBCSN presents a special two-hour Transfer Deadline Day Special hosted by Lowe, Mustoe and Earle, to discuss the latest player news as the Premier League transfer window closes.

NOTRE DAME FOOTBALL

NBC Sports Group’s 24th season broadcasting Notre Dame Football begins Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. ET with Countdown To Kickoff, NBC’s live pre-game show from Notre Dame Stadium, followed by No. 17 Notre Dame hosting Rice University at 3:30 p.m. ET.

Dan Hicks returns as play-by-play voice for NBC Sports’ Notre Dame Football coverage this season. Hicks will be joined by analyst Mike Mayock and sideline reporter Kathryn Tappen.

Liam McHugh hosts Countdown to Kickoff at 3 p.m. ET on NBC, on-site at Notre Dame Stadium. Joining McHugh will be Doug Flutie, and Hines Ward.

 

GOLF

NBC Sports Group presents nearly 25 hours of live coverage of the PGA Tour’s Deutsche Bank Championship beginning today at 2:30 p.m. ET with the first round on Golf Channel. Second round coverage on Golf Channel begins Saturday at 3 p.m. ET.  NBC’s coverage of the third round begins Sunday at 3 p.m. ET, with lead in coverage on Golf Channel beginning at 1 p.m. ET. Monday’s final round begins at 11:30 a.m. ET on Golf Channel, and continues on NBC at 1:30 p.m. ET.

Golf Channel’s Spotlight Coverage returns this week and will focus on the finishing stretch of holes – 16-18 – while complementing NBC’s live, third- and final-round coverage. Spotlight Coverage begins Sunday at 3 p.m. ET, and Monday at 1:30 p.m. ET.

Dan Hicks (play-by-play) and Johnny Miller (analyst) lead NBC’s team from TPC Boston.  Joining Hicks and Miller will be Gary Koch (tower), Peter Jacobsen (tower), Roger Maltbie (on course), Mark Rolfing (on course), Notah Begay (on course) and Steve Sands (interviews).

Terry Gannon (play-by-play) and Frank Nobilo (analyst) will cover the live tournament action on Golf Channel. Highlighting the Spotlight Coverage will be Randy Moss (play-by-play), Curt Byrum (analyst), Phil Parkin (on course) and Scott McCarron (on course).

Golf Channel’s coverage of the LPGA Tour’s Portland Open continues tonight at 7 p.m. ET. Saturday’s third round begins at 7 p.m. ET, and coverage concludes with the final round Sunday at 7 p.m. ET.

Golf Channel’s team of Tom Abbott (play-by-play), Judy Rankin (analyst), Jerry Foltz (on course), Karen Stupples (on course), and Tripp Issenhour (on course) call the action from Columbia Edgewater Country Club.

The Champions Tour Shaw Charity Classic begins tonight on Golf Channel at 9:30 p.m. ET, continues Saturday at 9:30 p.m. ET, and wraps up with the final round Sunday at 9 p.m. ET.

Golf Channel’s Brian Hammons calls the action from Canyon Meadows Golf & Country Club.  Joining Hammons will be Lanny Wadkins (analyst), Dave Marr (tower), John Mahaffey (tower) and Billy Ray Brown (on course).

Golf Channel’s weekend coverage of the European Tour’s Italian Open begins Saturday at 7 a.m. ET, and culminates with the final round Sunday at 7 a.m. ET.

Steve Burkowski will host from the studio in Orlando.  Joining Burkowski will be Dominik Hoyer (play-by-play), Renton Laidlaw (play-by-play), Warren Humphreys (analyst) and Jay Townsend (on course).

Weekend coverage of the Web.com Tour’s Hotel Fitness Championship begins Saturday at 12:30 p.m. ET on Golf Channel, and continues with the final round Sunday at 5 p.m. ET.

Whit Watson (play-by-play) leads the team calling the action from Canyon Meadows Golf & Country Club. Joining Watson will be Craig Perks (analyst), Phil Blackmar (tower), Kay Cockerill (on course) and Rich Beem (on course).

 

MOTORSPORTS

NBC Sports Group’s weekend motorsports coverage begins tonight at 5 p.m. ET with NASCAR AMERICA on NBCSN.

NBCSN’s presentation of the Verizon IndyCar Championship MAVTV 500 begins tonight at 7 p.m. ET with qualifying, followed by live race coverage on Saturday in primetime at 9 p.m. ET.

NBC Sports Group’s lead IndyCar and Formula One play-by-play voice Leigh Diffey will call the MAVTV 500 on-site, alongside analysts Townsend Bell and Paul Tracy. Reporters Marty Snider, Kelli Stavast, Kevin Lee and Robin Miller will report from the pits.

NBCSN presents 10 hours of Auctions America coverage this week from its flagship Auburn auction in Auburn, Ind. The action continues tonight at 10:30 p.m. ET, Saturday at 3 p.m. ET, and culminates with the final installation airing Sunday at 6 p.m. ET.

Veteran broadcaster Bill Patrick will host NBCSN’s Auctions America coverage this week, alongside NBCSN F1 analyst and former race mechanic for the Benneton F1 team Steve Matchett, and motorsports reporter Georgia Lindsay.

 

MAJOR LEAGUE SOCCER

NBCSN’s weekend coverage of Major League Soccer begins tonight at 9 p.m. ET when Sporting Kansas City hosts Houston Dynamo at Sporting Park in Kansas City, Kan.

The Major League Soccer action on NBCSN continues Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ET with DC United hosting the New York Red Bulls.

NBC Sports Group’s lead play-by-play announcer John Strong calls both games this weekend joined by host Russ Thaler and MSG Network analyst Shep Messing for Sporting Kansas City vs Houston Dynamo, and former MLS defender Robbie Russell (Real Salt Lake, D.C. United) for D.C. United vs New York Red Bulls.

 

YOUTH OLYMPICS GAMES

Coverage of the Youth Olympic Games from Nanjing, China concludes this Sunday on NBC at 12:30 p.m. ET. Josh Elliott hosts a one hour recap show, highlighting the top moments from the games.

 

HORSERACING

NBC Sports Group’s presentation of the “Summer at Saratoga: Breeder’ Cup Challenge Series” continues Saturday at 6 p.m. ET on NBCSN with The Woodward.

Saturday’ show will be hosted by Laffit Pincay III, who will be joined by analyst Jerry Bailey, analyst/handicapper Bob Neumeier and reporter Carolyn Manno.
