Note the following quotes from Inside Look with Anthony Rizzo presented by Cadillac premiering Monday, September 1 at 7:00 PM exclusively on Comcast SportsNet:

RIZZO on being a role model:

“You have to be smart about it and there’s also a learning curve about it too, especially in this city.  If you’re going to go out and stay out until four in the morning, you better be prepared to play the one o’clock or three o’clock game here.  It’s just about being a professional.”

RIZZO on his approach to overcoming baseball struggles:

“The times when you’re in a rut and you’re searching…that’s when I love the game the most because you find out who you are and what you’re made of.”

RIZZO on his battle with cancer:

“You have to take it a day at a time, really a minute at a time, a second at a time because you don’t know if you’re going to be feeling great and you don’t know if you’re going to be feeling terrible that day.  All these medicines that they put into you make you feel different.  Take it head on and stay strong, just believe that these doctors we have here in this country are good and they know what they’re doing.”

RIZZO on what it would be like at Wrigley Field the day the Cubs win the World Series:

“The parades and the partying won’t stop for a long time in this city, as it shouldn’t.  The streets will be unbelievable if we win it here.  It’d be scary actually because there would be no way out of that stadium.”
