MOTORSPORTS COVERAGE

NBC Sports Group’s weekend Formula One coverage begins today at 5 p.m. ET, with a new F1 Countdown on NBCSN.

Live weekend coverage of the Spanish Grand Prix begins Saturday with qualifying at 8 a.m. ET, and concludes with the Spanish Grand Prix at 7:30 a.m. ET Sunday on NBCSN.

Lead F1 announcer Leigh Diffey, along with veteran analyst and former racecar driver David Hobbs, and analyst and former Benetton F1 team mechanic Steve Matchett, will call the Spanish Grand Prix. F1 insider Will Buxton will serve as the team’s on-site reporter from the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalyuna in Barcelona, Spain.

NBCSN’s weekend Auctions America coverage from the historic Auburn Auction Park in Auburn, Ind., begins tonight at 10:30 p.m. ET, followed by live coverage from Auburn at 10 a.m. ET Saturday.

Bill Patrick hosts NBCSN’s Auctions America coverage, alongside Matchett, and reporter Carolyn Manno.

HOCKEY COVERAGE

NBC Sports Group’s weekend coverage of the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs begins on NBCSN tonight at 7 p.m. ET, when the New York Rangers play the Pittsburgh Penguins, followed by the Minnesota Wild taking on the Chicago Blackhawks at 9:30 p.m. ET. Mike Emrick and Pierre McGuire call New York Rangers vs. Pittsburgh, and Dave Strader and Eddie Olczyk are on site in Minnesota.

Coverage continues Saturday on NBCSN at 7 p.m. ET, when the Montreal Canadiens face the Boston Bruins. At 9:30 p.m. ET, NBCSN features Game 4 of the Los Angeles Kings–Anaheim Ducks series. Kenny Albert and Pierre McGuire call the action in Boston, while John Forslund and Brian Engblom are on site in Los Angeles.

Liam McHugh hosts NHL Live and NHL Overtime, along with Mike Milbury and former player Keith Jones on Friday, and with Milbury, Jones and Jeremy Roenick on Saturday. Kathryn Tappen, Roenick, Milbury and Jones host Sunday’s NHL Live and NHL Overtime.

PGA TOUR: THE PLAYERS CHAMPIONSHIP

NBC Sports Group’s weekend golf coverage features PGA Tour’s The Players Championship Saturday and Sunday at 12:30 p.m. ET on the Golf Channel; and Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. ET on NBC.

NBC’s team of Dan Hicks(play-by-play), Johnny Miller(analyst) will join Golf Channel’sPeter Jacobsen(tower),Gary Koch(tower),Steve Sands(interviews),Jimmy Roberts(essays) and Roger Maltbie,Mark RolfingandPhil Parkinon course to call the action. In addition,Terry Gannonwill handle play-by-play andNick Faldowill serve as an analyst for Golf Channel’s coverage.

PREMIER LEAGUE

NBC Sports Group’s weekend Premier League coverage begins Saturday at 5:30 p.m. ET, on NBCSN with Premier League Countdown.

NBCUniversal’s “Championship Sunday” coverage kicks off at 9 a.m. ET Sunday with an exclusive Premier League Live pregame show on CNBC featuring Rebecca Lowe, former Premier League footballer Robbie Mustoe, Jamaican National Team player Robbie Earle and Kyle Martino. Coverage continues with all 10 matches presented live simultaneously on 10 different NBCUniversal television networks at 10 a.m. ET.

Lowe, Mustoe, Earle and Martino return after the matches for a Premier League Goal Zone’s season wrap-up postgame show on NBCSN at Noon ET. Coverage concludes on NBCSN with Premier League Live: The Champion at 2 p.m. ET.

NBC Sports Group’s lead play-by-play announcer John Strong calls the match joined former MLS midfielder Brian Dunseth and host Russ Thaler.

TOUR OF CALIFORNIA

NBC Sports Group’s 16 hours of live coverage of the 2014 Amgen Tour of California, starts Sunday at 5 p.m. ET, on NBCSN with Stage One.

Phil Liggett, Paul Sherwen and 2012 USA Pro Cycling Challenge winner Christian Vande Velde will be on site in California with reporters Steve Schlanger and Steve Porino (‘Inside-the-Race’).
