TONIGHT – MAY 9

The Rangers face elimination tonight in Pittsburgh against the Penguins, as goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury and the Pens look for their fourth straight win against New York to advance to the Eastern Conference Final. Fleury has allowed just five goals over four games in the series, and blanked the Rangers on back-to-back nights in Games 2 and 3. Eight different Penguins recorded a point in Wednesday’s 4-2 victory in Game 4, including Jussi Jokinen, who has scored three times in four games against New York. Kenny Albert (play-by-play) and Emmy Award-winning ‘Inside-the-Glass’ analyst Pierre McGuire will call the action from CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Coverage continues at 9:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN with Game 4 between the Blackhawks and Wild, as Minnesota scored four times in the third period of their 4-0 Game 3 victory, cutting the Blackhawks’ series lead to 2-1. Minnesota has been a perfect 4-0 at home this postseason, outscoring the opponent 12-3 in those four games. Dave Strader (play-by-play) and Eddie Olczyk (analyst) will have the call from the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn.

SATURDAY, MAY 10

The Canadiens and Bruins return to Boston for Game 5 at 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN, deadlocked at two games apiece. Last night’s Game 4 was a chess match between the two rivals, as the game went to overtime scoreless, before Boston forward Matt Fraser scored 1:19 into overtime in his Stanley Cup Playoff debut to give the B’s a 1-0 win, and even the series at two. Two-time Emmy Award-winning play-by-play commentator Mike “Doc” Emrick and McGuire will call the action from TD Garden in Boston, Mass.

NBCSN’s doubleheader continues with Game 4 between the Ducks and Kings, following Anaheim’s critical 3-2 win in Game 3 in Los Angeles last night to cut their series deficit in half. The road team has scored the first goal in all three games of the series, and has gone on to win all three games thus far. John Forslund (play-by-play) and Brian Engblom (analyst) will have the call from Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif.

SUNDAY, MAY 11

NBC Sports Group’s Stanley Cup Playoff telecast schedule on Sunday will be determined following the result of tonight’s Game 5 matchup between the Rangers and Penguins.
