STAMFORD, Conn. – April 29, 2014Henrik Lundqvist and the (2) New York Rangers look to advance to the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs with a win on the road in Game 6 against Claude Giroux and the (3) Philadelphia Flyers tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Coverage of Rangers-Flyers begins with NHL Live at 6:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN, hosted by Liam McHugh, alongside former NHL players and analysts Mike Milbury and Keith Jones.

The Rangers have led the series three times, only to see the Flyers notch victories in Games 2 and 4 to draw even. A Flyers win tonight in Philadelphia would set the stage for Game 7 tomorrow night in New York, and a Game 7 tripleheader across NBCSN and CNBC.

New York took advantage of the home crowd on Sunday afternoon at Madison Square Garden in Game 5, building a 3-0 lead with goals from Marc Staal, Brad Richards and Dominic Moore, en route to a 4-2 victory. The winner of the Rangers-Flyers first-round series will face Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins in the second round.

Emmy Award-winning play-by-play commentator Mike “Doc” Emrick will call the action alongside Eddie Olczyk and Emmy Award-winning ‘Inside-the-Glass’ analyst Pierre McGuire from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pa.

POTENTIAL GAME 7 TRIPLEHEADER TOMORROW ACROSS NBCSN AND CNBC

Two Game 7 matchups are set for Wednesday night on NBCSN and CNBC, as the (1) Colorado Avalanche look to hold serve at home against the (4) Minnesota Wild, and the (3) Los Angeles Kings look to complete an historic comeback against the (2) San Jose Sharks.

CNBC’s coverage on Wednesday will start at 9:30 p.m. ET with Game 7 between the Avalanche and Wild. The home team has won each of the first six games of this series, including Minnesota’s 5-2 win on Monday night, as Wild captain Zach Parise scored the game-winning goal and recorded four points to force Game 7 back in Denver. The winner of Wild-Avalanche will go on to face the defending Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks in the second round.

NBCSN will present coverage of Game 7 on Wednesday between the Sharks and Kings at 10 p.m. ET tomorrow night, as the Kings look to pull off an improbable comeback with four straight victories to erase a 3-0 series deficit. Justin Williams broke a 1-1 tie with just over eight minutes remaining in the third period on Monday night, as the Kings went on to win 4-1, and force Game 7 back in San Jose.

Only three teams have ever rallied from a 0-3 deficit to win a Stanley Cup Playoff series (’42 Toronto Maple Leafs, ’75 New York Islanders, ’10 Philadelphia Flyers). The winner of Kings-Sharks will go on to face the Anaheim Ducks in the second round.

With two Game 7 matchups already for set for tomorrow night, a Flyers win in Game 6 tonight against the Rangers would set the stage for a Game 7 tripleheader on Wednesday night across NBCSN and CNBC. Game coverage would begin with Game 7 between the Rangers and Flyers from Madison Square Garden at 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN.
