NBC SPORTS GROUP TO PRESENT LIVE COVERAGE OF CAA MEN’S COLLEGE BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP THIS WEEKEND

CAA Tournament Semifinals and Championship Game on NBCSN

Tournament Coverage Streamed on NBC Sports Live Extra

STAMFORD, Conn. – March 6, 2014 – For the second consecutive year, NBC Sports Group will present more than six-hours of live coverage of the CAA Men’s Basketball Championship, from the Baltimore Arena in Baltimore, Md. Coverage of the Conference Championship and semifinal rounds will be televised on NBCSN and will also be streamed live on NBC Sports Live Extra – NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices, and tablets.

NBCSN and NBC Sports Live Extra’s coverage of the 2014 CAA Men’s Basketball Tournament will tip off this Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ET, with Game 1 of the semifinals.  CAA Men’s Basketball Tournament action will continue at 5 p.m. ET, with Game 2 of the semifinals. Coverage of the tournament will conclude on Monday night at 7 p.m. ET, with the Championship Game. The winner of the Championship will receive an automatic invite to the NCAA Tournament.

Mike Corey will manage play-by-play for all games and will be joined by analyst Ron ThompsonDalen Cuff will serve as the courtside reporter.

Friday night at 7:30 p.m. ET, NBCSN will deliver a classic Ivy League matchup between Harvard and Yale as the Crimson look to clinch the very first NCAA Tournament berth this season. Scott Graham will manage play-by-play duties for the game and will be joined by Dalen Cuff, from John J. Lee Amphitheater in New Haven, Conn.

In addition, NBCSN will present first-round and quarterfinals coverage of the A-10 Men’s Basketball Championship beginning on March 13.
