GOLF COVERAGE

NBC Sports Group’s weekend golf coverage features the PGA TOUR’s Honda Classic on Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on the Golf Channel and at 3 p.m. ET on NBC.

Golf Channel’s weekend coverage also includes the LPGA Tours’ HSBC Women’s Champions at 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and the Tshwane Open at 5:30 a.m. ET on Friday and Saturday.

NBC’s team of Dan Hicks (play-by-play), Johnny Miller (analyst), Gary Koch (tower), will join Golf Channel’s Peter Jacobsen (tower), Steve Sands (interviews) and Roger Maltbie, Mark Rolfing and Notah Begay on course to call the action for the Honda Classic in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. In addition, Rich Lerner will handle play-by-play and Frank Nobilo will serve as an analyst for Golf Channel’s coverage.

Peter Donagan (play-by-play), Sandy Mackenzie (analyst), and Kate Burton (interviews) will handle coverage of the HSBC Women’s Champions from Sentosa, Singapore.

For the Tshwane Open, Golf Channel’s team of Kim Thomas (play-by-play),  Denis Hutchinson  (analyst), Warren Humphreys (analyst), and Ken Brown (on course) will host coverage from Centurion, South Africa.

PREMIER LEAGUE

NBC Sports Group’s weekend Premier League coverage begins Saturday at 9 a.m. ET on NBCSN with Premier League Live immediately followed by Fulham v. Chelsea at 10 a.m. ET. Premier League Extra Time will air Stoke City v. Arsenal; Everton v. West Ham United; and Hull City v. Newcastle United at 10 a.m. ET. NBCSN will also feature Southampton v. Liverpool at 12:30 p.m. ET, immediately followed by Goal Zone at 2:30 p.m. ET.

Saturday’s live coverage concludes with Match of the Day at 11 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Sunday’s coverage on NBCSN features Premier League Live at 10:30 a.m. ET followed by Tottenham Hotspur v. Cardiff City at 11:30 a.m. ET, with Swansea City v. Crystal Palace and Aston Villa v. Norwich City at 11:30 a.m. ET on Premier League Extra Time.

Lead play-by-play voice Arlo White and four-time league champion Lee Dixon call Southampton v. Liverpool on Saturday and Tottenham Hotspur v. Cardiff City on Sunday.

All matches will be preceded and followed by Premier League Live pre- and post-match shows from the NBC Sports Group International Broadcast Center in Stamford, Conn., anchored by Rebecca Lowe, who returns from hosting Olympic coverage. Lowe hosts Premier League Live alongside former English footballer Robbie Mustoe and former U.S. National Team midfielder Kyle Martino.

HOCKEY COVERAGE

NBC Sports Group’s NHL regular-season coverage returns this week with the Pittsburgh Penguins facing the Chicago Blackhawks in the NHL Stadium Series at Soldier Field in Chicago on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.

Emmy Award-winning play-by-play commentator Mike ‘Doc’ Emrick, analyst Eddie Olczyk and Emmy Award-winning ‘Inside-the-Glass’ analyst Pierre McGuire will have the call from Soldier Field in Chicago. Coverage begins on-site with NHL Live host Liam McHugh, and former players and analysts Mike Milbury and Jeremy Roenick.

In addition to Saturday night’s Penguins-Blackhawks NHL Stadium Series game, NBC will kick off Sunday’s Hockey Day In America tripleheader coverage at noon ET with a Metropolitan Division showdown between the Philadelphia Flyers and Washington Capitals from the nation’s capital. Dave Strader (play-by-play) and Joe Micheletti (analyst) will have the call from Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.

NBC Sports Group’s hockey tripleheader continues following Flyers-Capitals with the NHL Heritage Classic, as the Ottawa Senators face the Vancouver Canucks at 4 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Gord Miller (play-by-play) and Brian Engblom (analyst) will have the call from BC Place in Vancouver, British Columbia. Coverage of Hockey Day In America concludes Sunday with an Original Six matchup of bitter rivals, as the Rangers host the Bruins at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Kenny Albert and Andy Brickley will provide live commentary from Madison Square Garden in New York.

In addition to this week’s NHL games, NBCSN will present Big Ten college hockey coverage on Saturday, when No. 2 Minnesota hosts Penn State at 7 p.m. ET. Dan Kelly (play-by-play) and Ben Clymer will have the call from Mariucci Arena in Minneapolis, Minn.

NHL Live, NBC Sports Group’s live NHL pre-game and post-game studio show, airs at 6:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday, and will present analysis on-site from the NHL Stadium Series at Soldier Field on Saturday, as well as throughout Sunday’s tripleheader coverage on NBC and NBCSN. McHugh, Russ Thaler and Kathryn Tappen will serve as hosts this week, alongside Milbury, Roenick, Keith Jones and Anson Carter.
