Stamford, Conn, – February 18, 2014 – NBC’s primetime coverage of the XXII Olympic Winter Games tomorrow, Wednesday, February 19 at 8/7c is highlighted by the short program in ladies’ figure skating where reigning U.S. champion Gracie Gold makes her individual program debut after winning bronze in the team event. The program also features 2010 Olympic gold medalist Yuna Kim of South Korea, Yulia Lipnitskaya, who helped lead Russia to gold with a top performance in the team event, and two-time U.S. national champion Ashley Wagner. Also highlighting primetime is the giant slalom gold medal final in men’s alpine skiing featuring reigning world champion Ted Ligety and Bode Miller, the most decorated skier in U.S. Olympic history, who most recently earned bronze in the super-G. In women’s bobsled, 2010 Olympic bronze medalist Elana Meyers, who currently sits in first place, takes her final runs. Rounding out primetime coverage is the parallel giant slalom gold medal final in men’s snowboarding.

The quarterfinal round of the men’s Olympic hockey tournament begins on Wednesday, as USA Network hosts coverage of Team USA vs. Czech Republic, and MSNBC hosts coverage of Canada vs. Latvia, both live at Noon ET. NBCSN’s live coverage on Wednesday begins at 3 a.m. ET with Sweden vs. Slovenia and continues at 7:30 a.m. ET with Finland vs. Russia.

Also highlighting NBCSN’s live programming Wednesday is coverage of the short program in ladies’ figure skating and the team sprint gold medal final in women’s cross-country. The parallel giant slalom gold medal finals in men’s and women’s snowboarding will round out NBCSN’s coverage on Wednesday.

Medal round curling coverage begins Wednesday with all four semifinals shown across MSNBC, USA Network and CNBC. Women’s curling semifinals will include Great Britain facing an undefeated Canadian team live on USA Network at 5 a.m. ET and Sweden vs. Switzerland at 9 a.m. ET on MSNBC.  In the men’s semifinals, MSNBC hosts coverage of top seeded Sweden vs. Great Britain at 2:30 p.m. ET and CNBC hosts coverage of Canada vs. China at 5 p.m. ET.

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 20

NBC’s programming on Thursday is highlighted by the gold medal final in women’s hockey featuring Team USA vs. Canada live across all time zones at Noon ET. This will be the second meeting between USA and Canada in the 2014 Olympic women’s hockey tournament, with Canada coming out on top 3-2 in the preliminary round. The two countries have combined to win all four gold medals in Olympic women’s hockey history, with Canada claiming three straight since the U.S. won the inaugural Olympic women’s tournament in 1998.

NBC’s primetime coverage on Thursday is highlighted by the gold medal final in women’s figure skating with Gold, Kim, Lipnitskaya and Wagner all skating their free programs, which combined with the short program score determines the Olympic champion. In the women’s ski halfpipe gold medal final, U.S. has a deep team of competitors, led by 20-year-old Maddie Bowman, while 2013 world bronze medalist John Teller will compete in the men’s ski cross gold medal final on Thursday.

NBCSN’s live coverage on Thursday begins at 3 a.m. ET and includes the gold medal final in ladies’ figure skating, the live bronze medal games in women’s curling and hockey after which the first curling and hockey medals will be given, and the team K-125 large hill gold medal final in Nordic combined.

Following the women’s curling semifinals on Wednesday, the top two teams will face off in the gold medal final Thursday at 5 p.m. ET on CNBC.

  • Women’s Bobsled – Gold Medal Final: A 2010 Olympic bronze medalist as a brakeman, Elana Meyers is now in the driver’s seat with 2012 Olympic track gold medalist Lauryn Williams in her sled. The duo currently have the top American sled in first place. Another U.S. sled, driven by Jamie Greubel, currently sit in third.
  • Men’s and Women’s Snowboarding – Parallel Giant Slalom Gold Medal Final: The knockout rounds in snowboarding’s parallel giant slalom events are expected to feature married Russian couple Alena Zavarzina and Vic Wild. Wild, from White Salmon, Washington, competed for the United States before marrying Zavarzina, a native of Siberia and former world champion, in 2011.

NBC HIGHLIGHTS (Daytime):

  • Women’s Speed Skating – 5000m Gold Medal Final: The 2014 Games will be a victory lap for Germany’s Claudia Pechstein, who made her Olympic debut in 1992. Another medal would give the 41-year-old 10 for her career, tying the all-time Olympic Winter Games women’s record.
  • Men’s Cross-Country – Team Sprint Gold Medal Final: The hosts have become serious contenders in this event since earning bronze in Vancouver. Moscow native Nikita Kryukov won both sprint events at the 2013 World Championships and will anchor the talented Russian team.
  • Women’s Cross-Country – Team Sprint Gold Medal Final: The U.S. won the 2013 world title in the team sprint, but will have a difficult time fending off the sport’s Scandinavian powers.

  • Biathlon – Mixed Relay Gold Medal Final: This new event for Sochi gives nations the chance to showcase their depth of talent, as men and women team up to win gold.

  • Men’s Hockey – Quarterfinal, Sweden vs. Slovenia (LIVE): With New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist in net, Sweden enters the quarterfinals as the top seeded team in the men’s tournament. The Swedes, who won gold in Torino, take on Olympic newcomers Slovenia.
  • Men’s Hockey – Quarterfinal, Finland vs. Russia (LIVE): The hosts will have immense crowd support skating on home ice against Finland. Led by captain Pavel Datsyuk and star Alex Ovechkin, the Russians enter the quarterfinals after defeating Norway 4-0. The Finns should be a tough test, though, as they have earned a medal in each of the past two Olympic hockey tournaments.

USA HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Men’s Hockey – Quarterfinal, USA vs. Czech Republic (LIVE): Team USA enters the quarterfinals with plenty of momentum following its memorable shootout victory over Russia and two impressive offensive displays against the Slovakia and Slovenia in the preliminary round. The U.S. men’s hockey team has not won a medal away from North America since 1972 and can take the next step to ending that streak with a win over the Czech Republic.
  • Women’s Curling – Semifinal, Great Britain vs. Canada (LIVE): Canada finished the round robin undefeated, but face a tough test against reigning world champion Great Britain.
