PREMIER LEAGUE

NBC Sports Group continues its coverage of Premier League with a special, one-hour Premier League LiveTransfer Deadline Day program tonight at 6:30 p.m. ET. Transfer Deadline Day will cover breaking news following the 6 p.m. ET/11 p.m. UK time transfer deadline and include insights and analysis on transfers.

NBC Sports Group’s weekend Premier League coverage begins Saturday at 7 a.m. ET on NBCSN with Premier League Live immediately followed by Newcastle United v. Sunderland and West Ham United v. Swansea City on Premier League Extra Time at 7:45 a.m. ET. The NBCSN 10 a.m. ET slot on Saturday will feature Stoke City v. Manchester United. Premier League Extra Time will air Hull City v. Tottenham Hotspur; Everton v. Aston Villa; Fulham v. Southampton; and Cardiff City v. Norwich City at 10 a.m. ET. Saturday’s live coverage concludes with Match of the Day at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC.

Sunday’s coverage on NBCSN features Premier League Live at 8 a.m. ET followed by West Bromwich v. Liverpool at 8:30 a.m. ET, and Arsenal v. Crystal Palace 11 a.m. ET.

The special transfer day Premier League Live will be hosted by English soccer commentator Steve Bower, one of the voices for BBC’s Match of the Day. Bower will be joined by former Jamaican National Team player Robbie Earle, former U.S. Men’s National Team midfielder Kyle Martinoand former English footballer Robbie Mustoe at NBC Sports Group’s International Broadcast Center in Stamford, Conn. Lead play-by-play announcer Arlo White will provide live updates from Newcastle and Daily Mail columnist Neil Ashton will report from Premier League Productions.

Lead play-by-play voice White joins four-time league champion Lee Dixon to call Newcastle United v. Sunderland Saturday at 7:45 a.m. ET on NBCSN.

COLLEGE HOCKEY

NBC Sports Group’s college hockey coverage continues with two games this weekend. NBCSN presents Hockey East action between Boston University and UMass tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET. Dave Goucher (play-by-play) and Ken Hodge (analyst) will have the call from the Mullins Center in Amherst, Mass. NBCSN’s Big Ten Hockey coverage continues Saturday night at 6:30 p.m. ET when Michigan hosts Wisconsin at Yost Ice Arena in Ann Arbor, Mich.

GOLF CHANNEL COVERAGE

 Golf Channel’s weekend coverage includes the Omega Dubai Desert Classic Saturday and Sunday at 4 a.m. ET, and the Waste Management Phoenix Open at 1 p.m. ET Saturday and Sunday.

Golf Channel’s team of Mike Ritz (studio host), Dougie Donnelly (play-by-play), Ken Brown (analyst), Warren Humphreys (analyst), and Jay Townsend (on course) will call the action for the Omega Dubai Desert Classic at Majlis Course, Emirates Golf Club in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Rich Lerner (play-by-play), Curt Byrum (analyst),   Peter Oosterhuis (tower), Phil Parkin (on course), and Matt Ginella (interviews) will handle coverage of the Waste Management Phoenix Open from Stadium Course, TPC Scottsdale in Scottsdale, Ariz..

NHL COVERAGE

The NHL Game of the Week on NBC continues on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. ET when Alex Ovechkin (Team Russia) and the Washington Capitals host the Detroit Red Wings. Gord Miller and Joe Micheletti will have the call from Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.

REDBULL SIGNATURE SERIES

The 2014 Red Bull Signature Series will debut on NBC, Sunday, February 2 at 3 p.m. ET with Red Bull Frozen Rush, an innovative off-road truck race on the ski slopes of Maine’s Sunday River Resort. Redefining snowsports, this new head-to-head off-road race on the slopes features eight 900-horsepower Pro4 trucks defying the winter conditions at Maine’s Sunday River resort to rip figure eights, fly off jumps and climb snowy inclines.  Eight drivers will test their skills on uncharted territory in search of a mountain champ.
