Chicago, IL (January 22, 2014) — Comcast SportsNet, the television home for the most games and most comprehensive coverage of the Chicago White Sox, is ready to start up the 2014 White Sox season in a big way with exclusive, LIVE Opening Ceremonies coverage from the 2014 “SoxFest” convention, which is being held downtown this weekend (January 24-26) at the Palmer House Hilton.

On Friday, January 24 beginning at 4:00 PM, Comcast SportsNet & CSNChicago.com will provide viewers with every thrill-packed moment of the annual convention’s opening ceremonies featuring introductions of current and former White Sox players/coaches/front office executives, plus – live interviews with White Sox players following the opening ceremonies, video montages and much more.  Comcast SportsNet’s 2014 “SoxFest” coverage will be hosted by White Sox Pre/Post Game Live host Chuck Garfien.

At 5:00 PM on Friday, “SoxFest” coverage continues with live, talkback interviews from the annual fan convention, along with detailed 2014 White Sox discussion, will take place on SportsTalk Live presented by Land Rover (hosted by David Kaplan).
