Chicago, IL (January 15, 2014) — Comcast SportsNet, the television home for the most games and most comprehensive coverage of the Chicago Cubs, is ready to start up the 2014 Cubs season in a big way with extensive coverage of the annual Cubs Convention, which is being held downtown this weekend (January 17-19) at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers.
Beginning Friday, Comcast SportsNet’s SportsTalk Live presented by Land Rover (hosted by David Kaplan) will be doing several talkbacks from the Convention featuring interviews with Cubs players/coaches/front office executives, along with a detailed analysis of what’s in store for the northsiders this season.
Throughout the weekend, Kelly Crull and Kaplan will file reports for SportsNet Central (6:30 PM, 10:00 PM, 10:30 PM and midnight) and for CSNChicago.com’s CubsTalk section featuring interviews with Cubs players, coaches and fans. Plus, CSNChicago.com’s Cubs “Insider” Patrick Mooney and CSNChicago.com Cubs digital baseball producer Tony Andracki will also provide viewers with comprehensive, real-time online coverage featuring numerous players/coaches/front office executive interviews, stories, fan reaction, photos, videos and much more.
