Stamford, Conn. – November 20, 2013 – Peyton Manning and the AFC West-leading Denver Broncos (9-1) travel to Foxborough, Mass. to take on Tom Brady and the AFC East-leading Patriots (7-3), in Manning – Brady XIV, on NBC’s Sunday Night Football. Coverage begins with Football Night In America at 7 p.m. ET on NBC.
Sunday night’s game will mark the 14th time Manning and Brady have faced each other in their careers, including two AFC Championship Games. Brady has won nine of the previous 13 meetings, but Manning has won four of the past seven. Last year the Patriots beat the Broncos 31-21, since that game the Broncos have a record of 20-1 in the regular season. Collectively the two quarterbacks have combined for more than 100,000 passing yards, 800 touchdowns, and four Super Bowl titles.
Calling Broncos-Patriots is seven-time Emmy Award-winner Al Michaels (play-by-play), in his 28th season as the voice of the NFL’s premier primetime package; 14-time Emmy Award-winner Cris Collinsworth, who has won the Emmy for Outstanding Event Analyst in each of his four seasons in the Sunday Night Football booth; and Emmy Award-winning sideline reporter Michele Tafoya.
NBC’s coverage of Sunday Night Football is led by Emmy Award-winning coordinating producer Fred Gaudelli and Emmy Award-winning director Drew Esocoff. Sunday Night Football has won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Live Sports Series for five consecutive years.
Football Night In America, the most-watched pre-game show in sports, is hosted by 25-time Emmy Award-winner Bob Costas, who will report from Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. Costas will be joined on-site by Michaels, Collinsworth, and longtime NFL front office veteran and former NFL Executive of the Year Scott Pioli, who served as Director, and later Vice President of Player Personnel for the Patriots from 200o to 2008.
Dan Patrick co-hosts Football Night from NBC’s famed Studio 8H at 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Patrick will be joined by Super Bowl-winning head coach Tony Dungy, two-time Super Bowl winner Rodney Harrison, two-time Super Bowl winner and Super Bowl XL MVP Hines Ward, Peter King of Sports Illustrated, and Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk on NBCSN and NBCSports.com. Carolyn Manno will report from Met Life Stadium, in East Rutherford, N.J., on the Cowboys-Giants game.

NEW EPISODES OF FNIA COACH’S CLICKER AND NFL TURNING POINT AIR TONIGHT ON NBCSN
NBCSN’s in-depth coverage of the 2013 NFL season continues tonight with new episodes of FNIA Coach’s Clicker at 5 p.m. ET and NFL Turning Point at midnight ET.
FNIA Coach’s Clicker, NBCSN’s weekly half-hour NFL studio show hosted by Liam McHugh with Super Bowl-winning head coach Tony Dungy and two-time Super Bowl winner Rodney Harrison, will examine the upcoming Sunday Night Football showdown between Broncos QB Peyton Manning and Patriots QB Tom Brady, who will face each other for the 14th time in their careers. Dungy and Harrison will also discuss the impact of Broncos WR Wes Welker, and the chemistry he has developed in his first season with Manning after spending six seasons as Brady’s favorite target.
FNIA Coach’s Clicker will study Cowboys-Giants, and look at how New York’s defense has flourished, while Dallas’ defense has struggled the past few weeks. In addition, the episode will look ahead to the upcoming Redskins-49ers matchup, featuring San Francisco QB Colin Kaepernick and Washington QB Robert Griffin III.
NFL Turning Point, hosted by Football Night In America’s Dan Patrick, will look back at Week 11 in the NFL and focus on the crucial “turning point” moments that ultimately defined the outcome of some of the week’s most watched contests.
This week’s episode of NFL Turning Point breaks down the 49ers-Saints game, examining how the New Orleans defense consistently stopped San Francisco on third down and stifled the 49ers running game. The show dissects 49ers LB Ahmad Brooks’ personal foul penalty from his hit on Saints QB Drew Brees in the fourth quarter, and how the play negated 49ers LB Patrick Willis’ fumble recovery, giving the Saints new life on the drive that resulted in a game-tying field goal.
The program also reviews Sunday night’s Chiefs-Broncos game. Turning Point will analyze how the Broncos offensive line shut down the Chiefs pass rush, which did not register a hit on Peyton Manning in the game. The program also examines Kansas City QB Alex Smith, and whether he can make big plays down the stretch to win games for the Chiefs.
This week’s episode will spotlight Eagles QB Nick Foles and head coach Chip Kelly, who were both wired for sound during Sunday’s win against Washington.

CFL GREY CUP
NBCSN will air the CFL Grey Cup live this Sunday at 6 p.m. ET from Mosaic Stadium at Taylor Field, in Regina, Saskatchewan. Darian Durant and the West Division champion Saskatchewan Roughriders (11-7, regular season) take on Henry Burris and the East Division champion Hamilton Tiger-Cats (10-8, regular season).
Calling the Grey Cup will be veteran TSN play-by-play announcer Chris Cuthbert. Three-time CFL All-Star Glen Suitor will join Cuthbert as game analyst for the telecast, with Sara Orlesky and Farhan Lalji serving as sideline reporters for the game.
NBCSN aired 14 CFL regular-season games in 2013, in addition to the CFL Semifinals and Sunday’s Grey Cup. The 2013 schedule included the 2012 Grey Cup Champion Toronto Argonauts, BC Lions, Calgary Stampeders, Edmonton Eskimos, Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Montreal Alouettes, Saskatchewan Rough riders and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

Last week’s Sunday Night Football game, featuring Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos defeating the previously unbeaten Kansas City Chiefs, 27-17, averaged 26.9 million viewers – marking the best primetime viewership for a November game in 17 years and a 48% increase over last season’s Week 11 SNF game (18.2 million viewers for Baltimore-Pittsburgh).
The Chiefs-Broncos SNF matchup easily won the week as TV’s most-watched primetime show, topping the No. 2 show by 39% (“NCIS,” 19.4 million), according to official live plus same day national data from The Nielsen Company. Chiefs-Broncos is the most-watched SNF game this season (including the Thursday night opener), edging out the Oct. 20 Broncos-Colts game featuring Manning’s return to Indianapolis.
The broadcast (8:31-11:59 PM ET) also posted the week’s highest primetime rating (15.5/25) and a 9.9 rating in the Adult 18-49 demographic.
NBC NFL games are averaging a 13.0 HH rating and 22.0 million viewers per telecast – the network’s best 11-week start since acquiring the SNF package in 2006. In addition, SNF tops primetime in Adults, Men and Women 18-34 and 18-49 demos and Adults and Men 25-54. SNF is also on record pace in the Women’s 18-49 and 25-54 demos.

2013 SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL
NBC will broadcast 19 primetime NFL games during the 2013 season, including NBC’s annual Thanksgiving night game, featuring the heated AFC North rivalry Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Baltimore Ravens.
