MOTORSPORTS COVERAGE

NBC Sports Group’s coverage of the United States Grand Prix begins with practice today at 1 p.m. ET on NBCSN followed by an encore of practice at 10 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Live coverage of qualifying will air Saturday on CNBC at 1 p.m. ET. Race coverage will begin with F1 Countdown, NBC’s 60-minute, on-site pre-race show, at 1 p.m. ET on NBC immediately followed by live coverage of the United States Grand Prix at 2 p.m. ET.

In addition to NBC’s live coverage of the United States Grand Prix, NBCSN will air an encore presentation of the race on Sunday at 6 p.m. ET.

F1 Countdown is hosted by NBC Sports Group’s lead F1 commentator Leigh Diffey. Diffey will be on-site at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, alongside David Hobbs (analyst), Steve Matchett (analyst), and Will Buxton (reporter). Diffy, Hobbs, Matchett and Buxton will host live coverage of the United States Grand Prix.

U.S. OLYMPIC CURLING

NBC Olympics’ coverage of the 2014 U.S. Olympic Curling Trials begins today at 3:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN with Match 1 of both men’s and women’s Trials. Coverage of Match 2 of the men’s Trials on NBCSN on Saturday will start at 3:30 p.m. ET, followed by Match 2 of the women’s Trials from 8-11 p.m. ET. Match 3 of both Trials, if necessary, will air on Sunday starting at noon. The U.S. men’s curling team will have to qualify for the 2014 Olympic Winter Games following the Trials.

Andrew Catalon (play-by-play), John Benton (analyst) and Steve Sands (reporter) will provide live commentary.

GOLF COVERAGE

Golf Channel’s weekend coverage includes the DP World Tour Championship Saturday and Sunday at 3 a.m. ET, the Talisker Masters Friday and Saturday at 9:30 p.m. ET and the OHL Classic at Mayakoba on Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. ET.

Golf Channel’s team of Mike Ritz (studio host), Dougie Donnelly (play-by-play), Warren Humphreys (analyst), Sam Torrance (analyst), Julian Tutt (on course), and Ken Brown (on course) will call the action for the DP World Tour Championship at Earth Course, Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Peter Donegan (play-by-play), Sandy Robert (analyst), Ian Baker-Finch (analyst), Ossie Moore (on course), and Luke Elvy (on course) will handle coverage of the Talisker Mastersby from Royal Melbourne Golf Club in Victoria, Australia.

For the OHL Classic at Mayakoba, Golf Channel’s team of Rich Lerner (play-by-play), Curt Byrum (analyst), Peter Oosterhuis (tower), Matt Gogel (tower), Scott McCarron (on course), Phil Parkin (on course), and Scott Rude (interviews) will host coverage from El Camaleon Mayakoba Golf Club at the Mayakoba Res in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

FIGHT NIGHT

NBC Sports Group’s Fight Night series returns on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC. The evening’s two-bout card is headlined by heavyweights Vyacheslav “Czar” Glazkov (15-0-1, 11 KOs) of Lugansk, Ukraine against Garrett “The Ultimate Warrior” Wilson (13-6-1, 7 KOs) of Philadelphia, Pa.

NBC Sports Group’s Fight Night broadcast team of play-by-play announcer Kenny Rice, analyst B.J. Flores and reporter Chris Mannix will call the action from Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, N.Y

2013 IRONMAN WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

NBC Sports’ annual IRONMANWorld Championship broadcast special, from Kona, Hawaii, will air Saturday at 4:30 p.m.

Veteran NBC Olympics play-by-play announcer Al Trautwig will narrate the annual special, and offer viewers a front-row seat to one of the most captivating events in sports.

ISU GRAND PRIX OF FIGURE SKATING: GRAND PRIX OF FRANCE

NBC continues its coverage of the 2013 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating with the Grand Prix of France on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. ET.

Terry Gannon will call the action alongside analysts Johnny Weir, a two-time Olympian and three-time U.S. champion, and Olympic gold medalist Tara Lipinski.

NFL COVERAGE

Sunday Night Football kicks off on Sunday, when the Denver Broncos (8-1) host the Kansas City Chiefs (9-0), at Sports Authority Field at Mile High, in Denver, Colo., on NBC’s Sunday Night Football. Coverage begins with Football Night In America at 7 p.m. ET on NBC.

Football Night In America is hosted by 25-time Emmy Award-winner Bob Costas, who will report from Sports Authority Field at Mile High, in Denver, Colo. Costas will be joined on-site by Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth and former NFL Executive of the Year, Scott Pioli, who from 2009-2012 served as GM of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Dan Patrick co-hosts Football Night from NBC’s famed Studio 8H at 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Patrick will be joined by Super Bowl-winning head coach Tony Dungy, two-time Super Bowl winner Rodney Harrison, two-time Super Bowl winner and Super Bowl XL MVP Hines Ward, and Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk on NBCSN and NBCSports.com. Carolyn Manno will report from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, La., on the 49ers-Saints game.

Calling Chiefs-Broncos is seven-time Emmy Award-winner Al Michaels (play-by-play); 14-time Emmy Award-winner Cris Collinsworth; and Emmy Award-winning sideline reporter Michele Tafoya.
