STAMFORD, Conn. – October 31, 2013Sebastian Vettel (Red Bull) will look to earn his seventh straight victory on Sunday at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at 7:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN. NBC Sports Group will also present live coverage of qualifying on CNBC on Saturday at 9 a.m. ET. Coverage of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix begins with practice on Friday at 9 a.m. ET.

Vettel clinched his fourth consecutive F1 World Championship with a victory at the Indian Grand Prix last weekend, his sixth straight win and 10th overall this season. Vettel, 26, is now tied with Alain Prost (4) and trails only Juan Manuel Fangio (5) and Michael Schumacher (7) for the most career F1 World Championships. Kimi Raikkonen (Lotus) took the checkered flag at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix last season, where Vettel earned back-to-back victories in 2009 and 2010. A win this week would tie Vettel with Schumacher (7) for the second most consecutive wins in F1 history behind Alberto Ascari’s nine straight victories between 1952-1953.

Live coverage of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix begins with practice on Friday at 9 a.m. ET on NBCSN, followed by qualifying on CNBC on Saturday at 9 a.m. ET. Live race coverage of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix begins on Sunday at 7:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN. F1 Extra, NBC Sports Group’s half-hour post-race show, will air immediately following the conclusion of NBCSN’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix coverage.

Prior to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, NBCSN will air Vettel/Andretti: One-on-One, a half-hour special hosted by F1 insider Will Buxton featuring in-depth interviews with Vettel and American F1 racing champion Mario Andretti. Topics include Vettel’s drive for his fourth consecutive F1 title, and the upcoming United States Grand Prix on Nov. 16.

COMMENTATORS: Lead F1 announcer Leigh Diffey will call the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and will be joined by veteran analyst and former racecar driver David Hobbs, and analyst and former race mechanic for the Benetton F1 team Steve Matchett. F1 insider Will Buxton will serve as the team’s on-site reporter from Yas Marina Circuit on Yas Island outside of Abu Dhabi.
