Peyton’s Return to Indianapolis Scores for Sunday Night Football

As previously announced, NBC Sports Live Extra scored its best NFL streaming traffic ever for a non-Super Bowl with the Broncos-Colts match-up in total uniques (356,403), total visits (382,548) and total minutes (19,588,823). For the year, the 2013 NFL season’s streaming traffic on NBC Sports Live Extra is up in all three categories: total uniques (36%), total visits (35%) and total minutes (42%).

According to Trendrr, Week 7’s Sunday Night Football Broncos-Colts game had the highest Trendrr score for any show on broadcast TV for the week.  On Twitter, #SNF garnered 101 million impressions last week, the most impressions of the season so far, and more than 45,000 mentions.

In honor of Peyton’s return to Indy, NBC Sports conducted a scavenger hunt last week driven by social media clues from @SNFonNBC and with the hashtag #ManningMoment.  Eighteen prizes were up for grabs, representing Manning’s #18 jersey. #ManningMoment garnered 1.1 million impressions, with more than half of those impressions coming on Saturday, October 19.
