Broncos QB Peyton Manning Returns to Indianapolis

Stamford, Conn. – October 14, 2013 – Sunday Night Football analyst Cris Collinsworth will join Football Night in America analysts Tony Dungy and Rodney Harrison on a media conference call tomorrow, Oct. 15, at 2 p.m. ET to preview this week’s NBC Sunday Night Football matchup featuring Denver quarterback Peyton Manning leading the unbeaten, first-place Broncos (6-0) into Indianapolis to face the first-place Colts (4-1). It is the first time Manning, who spent 13 years as the Colts quarterback, is returning to Indianapolis.

On Sunday, Manning will play his first game as a visiting quarterback in Indianapolis after setting all major Colts passing records, earning 11 playoff berths and winning a Super Bowl in 13 seasons with the club (1998-2010).

  • Tony Dungy was Peyton Manning’s head coach from 2002-08. The duo combined to lead the Colts to an 85-27 (.759) regular-season record in their time together – the second-best winning percentage in the Super Bowl era for a coach-QB tandem (minimum 50 games) behind only New England’s Bill Belichick and Tom Brady (141-40; .779).
