MOTORSPORTS COVERAGE

Coverage of the Grand Prix of Houston begins tonight at 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN with qualifying. Race 1 of the Grand Prix of Houston will air live tomorrow at 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN, followed by Race 2 of the doubleheader on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Coverage of Firestone Indy Lights Houston, IndyCar’s developmental series, will air at 4 p.m. ET on Sunday following Race 2 of the Grand Prix of Houston.

NBCSN’s live comprehensive coverage of Formula One’s Korean Grand Prix continues with qualifying tomorrow morning at 1 a.m. ET. Live race coverage of the Korean Grand Prix begins on Sunday at 1:30 a.m. ET. F1 Extra, NBC Sports Group’s half-hour post-race show, will air immediately following the conclusion of the Korean Grand Prix on Sunday. NBCSN will also air an encore presentation of the Korean Grand Prix on Sunday at 5 p.m. ET.

NBC Sports Group’s IndyCar and Formula One play-by-play voice Leigh Diffey will call the Grand Prix of Houston. Diffey will be joined in the booth this week by former drivers Townsend Bell and Wally Dallenbach. Reporters Jon BeekhuisKevin LeeMarty Snider and Robin Miller will manage the pits. Mike KingDavey Hamilton and Jake Query will have the call of the Indy Lights Houston race.

With Diffey in Houston, veteran motorsports broadcaster Bob Varsha will call the Korean Grand Prix. He will be joined by veteran analyst and former racecar driver David Hobbs, and analyst Steve Matchett. F1 insider Will Buxton will serve as the team’s on-site reporter from the Korea International Circuit in South Korea.

MLS COVERAGE

NBCSN presents two Major League Soccer matches this weekend kicking off tonight at 8 p.m. ET with the D.C. United hosting the Chicago Fire. Two top-tier MLS Western Conference teams meet tomorrow at 10 p.m. ET with the Seattle Sounders FC against the Colorado Rapids.

NBC Sports Group’s lead MLS play-by-play announcer John Strong will be joined by analyst Brian Dunseth and host Russ Thaler at Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium in Washington, D.C., and Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo.

PREMIER LEAGUE COVERAGE

NBC Sports Group’s weekend Premier League coverage begins tomorrow at 7 a.m. ET on NBCSN with Premier League Live immediately followed by Manchester City v. Everton. Coverage continues at 10 a.m. ET with Liverpool v. Crystal Palace on NBCSN, and the Hull City v. Aston Villa; Cardiff City v. Newcastle United; and Fulham v. Stoke City matches on Premier League Extra Time. Tomorrow’s live coverage concludes with Sunderland v. Manchester United at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Sunday’s coverage includes Norwich City v. Chelsea at 8:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN and Southampton v. Swansea City at 8:30 a.m. ET on Premier League Extra Time. At 11 a.m. NBCSN will feature the West Bromwich Albion v. Arsenal match, with the Tottenham Hotspur v. West Ham United match on Premier League Extra Time.

Lead play-by-play voice Arlo White joins Lee Dixon to call Sunderland v. Manchester United on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. White and Graeme Le Saux will call West Bromwich Albion v. Arsenal on Sunday at 11 a.m. ET on NBCSN.

PGA TOUR: PRESIDENTS CUP

NBC’s weekend coverage of the Presidents Cup begins tomorrow at 8 a.m. ET and continues Sunday at Noon ET. Replays of coverage will air on Golf Channel at 8 p.m. ET tomorrow and Sunday.

Dan Hicks and Johnny Miller will call the action live from Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio, along with Gary Koch, Peter Jacobsen, Mark Rolfing, Roger Maltbie, Curt Byrum, Notah Begay, Steve Sands, Jimmy Roberts, and Tim Rosaforte.

NOTRE DAME FOOTBALL

NBC Sports Group’s Notre Dame Football coverage continues tomorrow with the 2013 Shamrock Series from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas – the home of the Dallas Cowboys – when the Notre Dame Fighting Irish host the No. 22 Arizona State Sun Devils at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC. Coverage will begin at 7 p.m. ET with Countdown To Kickoff, NBCSN’s live on-site pre-game show.

Tom Hammond will call the game this week in place of Dan Hicks, who will be covering The President’s Cup. Hammond is joined by analyst Mike Mayock and sideline reporter Alex Flanagan.

Liam McHugh hosts Countdown To Kickoff on the field at AT&T Stadium. He is joined on-site by 1984 Heisman Trophy Winner Doug Flutie and two-time Super Bowl champion Hines Ward.  McHugh, Flutie and Ward will also manage half-time coverage for the telecast.

NFL COVERAGE

Sunday Night Football kicks off on Sunday, when the Houston Texans (2-2) travel to Candlestick Park in San Francisco, Calif., to take on the 49ers (2-2) in the final Sunday Night Football game at Candlestick Park (pending flexible scheduling). Coverage begins with Football Night In America at 7 p.m. ET on NBC.

Dan Patrick co-hosts Football Night from NBC’s famed Studio 8H at 30 Rockefeller Plaza on Sunday night. Patrick will be joined by Super Bowl-winning head coach Tony Dungy, two-time Super Bowl winner Rodney Harrison, Peter King, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk on NBCSN and NBCSports.com, and longtime NFL front office veteran and former NFL Executive of the Year Scott Pioli.

Football Night in America is hosted by 24-time Emmy Award-winner Bob Costas, who will report from the Candlestick Park in San Francisco, Calif. Costas will be joined on site by Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth and two-time Super Bowl winner Hines Ward.

Michaels (play-by-play), Collinsworth, and sideline reporter Michele Tafoya will call Sunday’s match up from San Francisco, Calif.
