NBC Sports Group to Air More Than 27 Hours of Live Coverage of the Presidents Cup – Golf Channel and NBC Sports will broadcast a combined 27.5 hours of live tournament action from the Presidents Cup.

Jack’s Place – Normally on display as the spring turns to summer for the PGA TOUR’s Memorial Tournament, Jack Nicklaus’ Muirfield Village takes center stage this week to host the international biennial event.

Live From the Presidents Cup to Broadcast On-site Tuesday-Sunday – LIVE FROM THE PRESIDENTS CUP will broadcast live and on-site at Muirfield Village throughout the week, both prior to and immediately following Presidents Cup matches.

Opening/Closing Ceremonies Broadcast Live on Golf Channel – The opening ceremony will be broadcast live on Golf Channel at 7:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday, and the closing ceremony will be broadcast live on Golf Channel immediately following Day 4 coverage on NBC on Sunday.

Format – The tournament will feature three different match play formats including six four-ball matches on Thursday, six foursome matches on Friday, five morning four-ball matches and five afternoon foursome matches on Saturday, and 12 singles matches on Sunday.

History – This is the 10th edition of the biennial event (contested in non-Ryder Cup years) and the United States holds a 7-1-1 record overall, and a 5-0 record when it is held in the United States.

Beijing Bound – This week the LPGA makes its first-ever stop in Beijing. The Jack Nicklaus’ designed Reignwood Pine Valley Golf Club is one of the most prestigious venues in all of China, having hosted many professional events including the 2005 Johnnie Walker Classic.

Kicking Off the Asia Swing – This week’s event marks the first of five consecutive events in Asia for the LPGA Tour, traveling next to Malaysia, Korea, Chinese Taipei and Japan.

Headlining the Field – Inbee Park, Cristie Kerr, Stacy Lewis, Morgan Pressel, Michelle Wie, Yani Tseng, Beatriz Recari, Azahara Munoz, Anna Nordqvist, Jessica Korda and Karrie Webb.
