STAMFORD, Conn. – Sept. 24, 2013
 – Live coverage of the final and decisive race of the  America’s Cup Finals will air tomorrow at 4 p.m. ET on NBCSN. The victor of Race 19 will win the 2013 America’s Cup.

In what would be the greatest comeback in the 162-year history of the America’s Cup, ORACLE TEAM USA is now one race victory away from winning the 2013 America’s Cup Finals. Following ORACLE TEAM USA’s seventh consecutive victory in the regatta, the team has avoided elimination seven straight times and comeback from an 8-1 point deficit to tie Emirates Team New Zealand at 8 points.

 

Veteran announcer Todd Harris will serve as the play-by-play commentator for the NBCSN telecast. Harris will be joined by former America’s Cup Helmsman and Volvo Ocean Race skipper Ken Read, as well as renowned sailor and author Gary Jobson.

The NBCSN telecast will be live streamed via “TV Everywhere,” the media industry’s effort to make quality content available to authenticated customers both in and out of the home and on multiple platforms.

The race airing on NBCSN will live stream to PCs, mobile devices and tablets through NBC Sports Live Extra, and to the digital platforms of participating cable, satellite, and telco services, via “TV Everywhere,” which is available on an authenticated basis to subscribers of participating MVPDs.

*Both teams are required to win 9 points to win the America’s Cup. ORACLE TEAM USA is required to win a total of 11 races, due to a penalty handed down by the international jury which ruled the team score no points for its first two wins.
