MOTORSPORTS COVERAGE

Weekend motorsports coverage will begin with Auctions America live on NBC Sports Network tonight 7 p.m. ET and tomorrow at 1 p.m. ET.

Coverage of the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio begins with qualifying on NBCSN tomorrow at 5 p.m. ET., and continues with Indy Lights Mid-Ohio, IndyCar’s developmental series, airing on NBC Sports Network Sunday at 2 p.m. ET. Weekend coverage will be highlighted by the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio on NBC Sports Network on Sunday at 3 p.m. ET.

In addition to IndyCar and Auctions America, coverage of the 2013 Red Bull AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn’s will air on NBC on tomorrow at 3 p.m. ET.

NBC Sports Group’s IndyCar and Formula One play-by-play voice Leigh Diffey will be joined in the booth this week by current IZOD IndyCar Series driver Ryan Briscoe and former driver Townsend Bell. Reporters Jon BeekhuisKevin LeeMarty Snider and Robin Miller will manage the pits. Mike KingDavey Hamilton and Jake Query will have the call of the Indy Lights Mid-Ohio race.

Veteran broadcaster Bill Patrick will work alongside Jay Leno to lead NBCSN’s live coverage of Auctions America this weekend, and will be joined by NBCSN F1 analyst and former race mechanic for the Benneton F1 team Steve Matchett, and reporter Camile Ford.

Jason WeigandtJeff Emig and Kelli Stavast will provide coverage of the 2013 Red Bull AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship from the legendary Loretta Lynn Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tenn.

SUMMER AT SARATOGA: WHITNEY INVITATIONAL HANDICAP

The second race in NBC’s Summer at Saratoga coverage, the Grade 1, $750,000 Whitney Invitational Handicap, will air tomorrow at 5 p.m. ET.

Tom Hammond, Randy Moss, Jay Privman and Jerry Bailey will host coverage from Saratoga Race Course.

MLS COVERAGE

NBC Sports Group presents the second edition of MLS Breakaway tomorrow at 9 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network. Tomorrow’s live soccer coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. ET with the Sporting Kansas City-New York Red Bulls match, followed by MLS Breakaway (9-10:30 p.m. ET).

In addition, NBC Sports Network will air a new MLS 36 tomorrow at 6 p.m. ET featuring New England Revolution forward Diego Fagundez.

Announcer Steve Cangialosi will handle play-by-play for Kansas City-New York alongside analyst Robbie Earle and host Russ Thaler from Sporting Park in Kansas City, Kan.

NBC Sports Group’s lead MLS play-by-play voice John Strong and analysts Kyle Martino and Robbie Mustoe will host MLS Breakaway coverage from NBC Sports Group’s International Broadcast Center in Stamford, Conn.

FIGHT NIGHT

NBC Sports Group’s Fight Night series returns tomorrow at 10:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network with live action from Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn. The evening’s three-bout card is headlined by middleweights Curtis “Showtime” Stevens (24-3, 17 KOs) of Brooklyn, N.Y., against Saul “La Fiera” Roman (37-9, 31 KOs) of Tijuana, Mexico.

Fight Night’s twin bill of co-feature bouts include a cruiserweight tilt between former USBA heavyweight champion “Fast” Eddie Chambers (36-3, 18 KOs) of Philadelphia against South Africa’s Thabiso “The Rock” Mchunu (13-1, 10 KOs). In the heavyweight contest, IBF North America heavyweight titleholder Tomasz “Goral” Adamek (48-2, 29 KOs) of Poland returns to take on Dominick “The Southern Disaster” Guinn (34-9) of Hot Springs, Ark.

NBC Sports Group’s Fight Night broadcast team of play-by-play announcer Kenny Rice, analyst B.J. Flores and reporter Chris Mannix will call the action from Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn. Special guest and former boxer Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini will join the booth.

SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBLL: DALLAS VS. MIAMI

Sunday Night Football kicks off the NFL’s 2013 preseason schedule with the NFL/Hall of Fame Game on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET as the Dallas Cowboys face the Miami Dolphins.

Calling Cowboys-Dolphins from Fawcett Stadium in Canton, Ohio, is Al Michaels , Cris Collinsworth, and sideline reporter Michele Tafoya.
