Chicago, IL (July 24, 2013) — Comcast SportsNet, the television home for the most games and most comprehensive coverage of the 2013 Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks, is ready to start up the 2013-14 NHL season in a big way with exclusive, LIVE Opening Ceremonies coverage from the sold out 2013 Blackhawks Convention, which is being held downtown this weekend (July 26-28) at the Hilton Chicago.

 

On Friday, July 26 beginning at 5:00 PM CT (hosted by SportsTalk Live’s David Kaplan), Comcast SportsNet & CSNChicago.com will provide viewers with every thrill-packed moment of the convention’s opening ceremonies featuring introductions of Blackhawks players/coaches/front office executives, the singing of the National Anthem, exciting Stanley Cup championship video montages, plus – a special live interview with a Blackhawks player immediately following the ceremony and much more! (NOTE: Comcast SportsNet will also provide a late night replay the Convention’s opening ceremonies at 12:30 AM.)
