2013 STANLEY CUP FINAL GAME 5 VIEWERSHIP

GAME 5 VIEWERSHIP (according to Fast National data provided by The Nielsen Company)

With 5.632 million viewers, Game 5 of the Boston/Chicago Stanley Cup Final (8:10-11PM ET) was the most-watched Stanley Cup Final Saturday telecast in 12 years, since 2001’s New Jersey/Colorado Game 7 (6/9/01; 6.945 million).

The game drew a 3.2 US HH rtg (+60% from Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final last year with Los Angeles/New Jersey), 5.632 million average viewers (+69%), and 2.437 million in Adults 18-49 (+69%).

The game peaked with 6.684 million viewers from 10:30-11PM ET. The top five markets were Boston (24.4), Chicago (22.1), Providence (14.4), Buffalo (6.5) and Milwaukee (5.0).

NBC won the night in primetime (8-11PM ET) with Game 5 ranking as the No. 1 show.

The 2013 Stanley Cup Final has averaged 5.400 million viewers, ranking as the most-watched Stanley Cup Final on record through five games (data available since 1994).
