NBC SPORTS GROUP’S “NHL STANLEY CUP FINAL PASS” – JUNE 21

Extended NHL Live Pre-Game Coverage for Crucial Game 6 on Monday

STAMFORD, Conn. – June 21, 2013 – NBC Sports Group’s presentation of the Stanley Cup Final continues tomorrow night with Game 5 between the Boston Bruins and Chicago Blackhawks at 8 p.m. ET on NBC (series tied 2-2).

With three of the first four games needing overtime, the 2013 Stanley Cup Final is averaging 5.356 million viewers per game, making it the most-watched Final through four games on record (data available since 1994), according to The Nielsen Company. For more viewership information, click here.

NBC Sports Group’s NHL team of Emmy Award-winner Mike ‘Doc’ Emrick (play-by-play), Eddie Olczyk (analyst), and Emmy Award-winner Pierre McGuire (Inside-the-Glass analyst) will call the action from the United Center in Chicago, Ill.

NHL Live airs Saturday at 7 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network. The first half-hour will feature highlights, news and analysis from host Russ Thaler and analyst Anson Carter from NBC Sports Group’s International Broadcast Center in Stamford, Conn., with Jeremy Roenick on-site from Chicago. The second half-hour will feature more on-site coverage from the United Center with Liam McHugh, Keith Jones and Mike Milbury. In addition, Roenick will participate in on-ice segments and demonstrations. NHL Live post-game coverage will air on NBC Sports Network immediately after the game with McHugh, Jones, Milbury and Roenick.

GAME 5 ON NBC SPORTS LIVE EXTRA 

For the first time ever, the Stanley Cup Final will be streamed live. NBC Sports Live Extra — the NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices, and tablets — will live stream all Stanley Cup Final games.

EXTENDED NHL LIVE PRE-GAME COVERAGE ON MONDAY

NBC Sports Group expands its 2013 NHL Stanley Cup Final coverage for Game 6 with an extended pre-game show on Monday at 6:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network.

NHL Live’s studio will be on-site to capture the energetic and exciting atmosphere of Game 6 with 90 minutes of insights and Stanley Cup Final coverage. The special show will start with an hour of highlights, news and analysis with Russ Thaler, Anson Carter and Jeremy Roenick on-site outside of TD Garden in Boston, Mass. The final half-hour will feature more on-site coverage from inside TD Garden with Liam McHugh, Keith Jones and Mike Milbury. NHL Live post-game coverage will air on NBC Sports Network immediately after the game with McHugh, Jones, Milbury and Roenick.

The Crossover with Michelle Beadle will air at 6 p.m. ET, prior to NHL Live.
