COMCAST SPORTSNET TO PROVIDE EXTENSIVE MULTIPLATFORM COVERAGE OF THE 2013 AT&T NATIONAL JUNE 24-30

Bethesda, Md. (June 19, 2013) – Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic will provide extensive multiplatform coverage of the 2013 AT&T National, the Tiger Woods Foundation’s PGA TOUR event at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Md., beginning Monday, June 24. The network will feature comprehensive coverage across its television and digital media platforms throughout tournament week, highlighted by the return of Live at the AT&T National on Thursday, June 27.
Live at the AT&T National, presented by Geico, will provide daily tournament news, features, analysis and interviews from Congressional. The program will be hosted by Chick Hernandez, with former Maryland men’s basketball coach Gary Williams, a member of Congressional, and SportsTalk Live host Brian Mitchell serving as analysts. Also contributing to the program will be Comcast SportsNet’s Jill Sorenson and Nicole Darin, who will serve as reporters, and Golf Channel’s Steve Sands. Several special guests will also appear on the program, including Tiger Woods.
Live at the AT&T National the will be presented live for one hour on Thursday, June 27, and Friday, June 28, at 6:30 p.m., with encores at 9 p.m. The special program will air live for a half hour on Saturday, June 29, at 6:30 p.m., with a 9:30 p.m. encore. A special final-round edition of Live at the AT&T National will air for one hour on Sunday, June 30, at 7 p.m., with an encore at 9 p.m. The shows will also be presented as encores each morning.
Comcast SportsNet will also deliver extensive AT&T National coverage on SportsNet Central, the network’s daily news program, and SportsTalk Live, which airs weeknights, beginning Monday, June 24. Comcast SportsNet’s digital media platforms, which are highlighted by CSNwashington.com, will feature exclusive content throughout tournament week from veteran sportswriter Tarik El-Bashir and the network’s team of reporters and producers.
The AT&T National raises funds and awareness for the Tiger Woods Foundation, while paying tribute to the armed forces.
