NBC SPORTS GROUP’S “NHL STANLEY CUP FINAL PASS” – JUNE 17

Stamford, Conn. – June 17, 2013 – NBC Sports Group’s presentation of the Stanley Cup Final continues tonight with Game 3 between the Boston Bruins and Chicago Blackhawks at 8 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network (series tied 1-1). The first two games of the series have needed extra time to be decided.

NBC Sports Group’s NHL game-announce team of Emmy Award-winner Mike ‘Doc’ Emrick (play-by-play), Eddie Olczyk (analyst), and Emmy Award-winner Pierre McGuire (Inside-the-Glass analyst) will call the action from TD Garden in Boston, Mass.

NHL Live airs tonight at 7 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network. The first half hour will feature highlights, news and analysis from host Russ Thaler and analyst Anson Carter from NBC Sports Group’s International Broadcast Center in Stamford, Conn., with Jeremy Roenick on-site from Boston. The second half hour will feature more on-site coverage from TD Garden with Liam McHugh, Keith Jones and Mike Milbury. In addition, Roenick will participate in taped on-ice segments and demonstrations. NHL Live post-game coverage will air on NBC Sports Network immediately after the game with McHugh, Jones, Milbury and Roenick.

SPECIAL EDITIONS OF THE CROSSOVER

The Crossover, NBC Sports Network’s daily sports and entertainment show hosted by Michelle Beadle, will embrace the 2013 Stanley Cup Final tonight with a one-hour extended episode prior to Stanley Cup Final Game 3 at 6 p.m. ET, and a live, special NHL edition at 11 p.m. ET (or upon conclusion of the game).

Following the special, live post-game edition of The Crossover, Liam McHugh will host Stanley Cup Rewind – Best Games, with a look back at the best moments of the 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

STANLEY CUP FINAL GAME 3 ON NBC SPORTS LIVE EXTRA 

For the first time ever, the Stanley Cup Final will be streamed live. NBC Sports Live Extra — the NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices, and tablets — will live stream tonight’s Game 3 plus pre- and post-game coverage via “TV Everywhere,” the media industry’s effort to make quality content available to authenticated customers both in and out of the home and on multiple platforms.

In addition to live streaming the Stanley Cup Final, NBC Sports Live Extra will offer bonus coverage by utilizing Star Cam and Spotlight Cam for each game, exclusive to NBC Sports Live Extra. Star Cams are dedicated cameras that follow a star player from each team throughout the entire game. Spotlight Cam is a unique top-of-the glass camera that is positioned at center ice.

Saturday night’s NHL coverage on NBC Sports Network will live stream to PCs, mobile devices and tablets through NBC Sports Live Extra, and to the digital platforms of participating cable, satellite, and telco services, via “TV Everywhere,” which is available on an authenticated basis to subscribers of participating MVPDs.
