NBC SPORTS GROUP’S “NHL PLAYOFF PASS” – MAY 2
NEW YORK – May 2, 2013 – “NHL Playoff Pass” on NBC Sports Group Press Box provides a quick daily overview of Stanley Cup Playoff coverage, plus information and highlights. It will be published weekdays to preview the evening games. On Fridays, a weekend edition will be posted.

TONIGHT, May 2
NHL Live, hosted by Liam McHugh, Jeremy Roenick and Keith Jones, begins at 6:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network. Bill Patrick and Mike Keenan will host CNBC’s studio coverage.
Playoff coverage starts at 7 p.m. ET tonight on CNBC with the Montreal Canadiens hosting the Ottawa Senators at Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, in Game 1, followed by the Los Angeles Kings taking on the St. Louis Blues in Game 2 of the series. St. Louis leads 1-0 after an overtime win to start the series. Dave Strader will manage play-by-play and will be joined in the booth by analyst Brian Engblom from Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Miss.
On NBC Sports Network, the Washington Capitals host the New York Rangers at 7:30 p.m. ET in Game 1. Mike ‘Doc’ Emrick will call play-by-play with analyst Eddie Olczyk and Pierre McGuire (‘Inside-the-Glass’) from Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. The Anaheim Ducks host the Detroit Red Wings in Game 2 (Detroit leads 1-0). John Forslund will handle play-by-play duties and will be joined in the booth by Daryl Reaugh at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif.

For the second consecutive year, and only the second time in the 96-year history of the NHL, every Stanley Cup Playoff game will be televised nationally.
