Debuting Tuesday, April 2 at 9:00 PM, Comcast SportsNet’s Susannah Collins hosts an exclusive one-on-one interview with the already-legendary head coach of Northwestern University’s Women’s Lacrosse team, KELLY AMONTE HILLER.  Amonte Hiller’s rise to national prominence in the collegiate sports world is second to none as she has led the Wildcats to seven women’s lacrosse national championships in the last eight years, tying an NCAA record with eight-straight title game appearances.  With a 32-2 overall NCAA Tournament record, Amonte Hiller holds the mark as the winningest women’s lacrosse coach in Tournament history, plus – she also won a pair of NCAA titles as a player at Maryland, making her a nine-time NCAA champion.  So far this season, Amonte Hiller’s NU squad is already sporting an 8-1 overall record.

Amonte Hiller, whose brother Tony spent eight seasons with the Chicago Blackhawks, discusses everything from the pressure on herself and on her players to maintain the level of excellence she has established at NU, to her future at the university, the infamous “flip flop gate” at the White House in ‘05 and much more.  In addition, this half-hour episode of Inside Look will include a “Day in the Life” feature as CSN follows Amonte Hiller for an entire day showcasing candid moments from both her professional and personal life.

In addition, viewers are urged to check out Comcast SportsNet’s website, CSNChicago.com, for additional interview content never before seen on TV.  Fans will also be able to watch every Inside Look guest interview online after it debuts on Comcast SportsNet.  Comcast SportsNet will also re-air Inside Look with Kelly Amonte Hiller on the following dates/times: Thu, Apr. 4 at 5pm – Sun, Apr. 7 at 9:30pm – Sun, Apr. 14 at 7:30pm & Sun, Apr. 28 at 3:30pm. (Schedule subject to change)

Note the following quotes from Inside Look with Kelly Amonte Hiller presented by Cadillac premiering Tuesday, April 2 on Comcast SportsNet:

AMONTE HILLER on putting pressure on herself:

“I put a lot of pressure on myself in general…that is just my MO. I really believe that pretty much whatever I set my mind to, I am going to do it the best of my ability and I have the confidence that I am going to be successful at it. That is how I came in to this program. I really didn’t know any different.”

AMONTE HILLER on keeping her team focused at all times:

“When people tend to let up, we push the gas pedal. I think that is just my general philosophy and that is why the girls have become strong. We are continuing to push them every day and I think they appreciate that.”

AMONTE HILLER on “flip flop gate” at the White House in 2005:

“We had just won our first national championship.  I can tell you I was definitely not looking at what shoes they were wearing and I definitely wasn’t experienced enough to make sure they were wearing the right stuff…we were all just all in the moment.”

AMONTE HILLER on her future at Northwestern:

“For me, this is everything.  I feel that I have built this program.  This place is very special.  I hope that I can continue to push my student-athletes to be strong women and to have some success while they are here, but also in life.  For my family, I hope I can do the same…push myself to be a great mom and wife and just be better every day.”
