EVENT REMINDER: COMCAST SPORTSNET AND THE WORLD SERIES CHAMPION SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS PRESENT “AUTHENTIC OPENING DAY,” FREE SEASON OPENER VIEWING PARTY MONDAY, APRIL 1 AT AT&T PARK

Game Presented Live on AT&T Park’s HD Diamond Vision Scoreboard

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (March 12, 2013) – Comcast SportsNet Bay Area, the home of “Authentic Bay Area Sports,” and the defending World Series champion San Francisco Giants invite all Bay Area sports fans to “Authentic Opening Day,” a free viewing party at AT&T Park on Monday, April 1. The Giants open the 2013 season on the road against N.L. West rival Los Angeles Dodgers with three-time N.L. All-Star and staff ace Matt Cain on the mound.

The party begins at noon with Giants Pregame Live shown on the AT&T Park HD Diamond Vision scoreboard, featuring live coverage between the festivities at AT&TPark and Dodger Stadium. The pregame show will be followed by the live telecast of the Giants’ 2013 season opener from Los Angeles at 1 p.m.

The event is free to the public and fans can enter at the WillieMaysPlaza gates beginning at noon.

The first 5,000 fans will receive a coupon for a free hot dog and “Authentic Giants Fan” cheer cards, and the first 3,000 fans will receive a free Comcast SportsNet “Authentic Giants Fan” 2010 and 2012 World Series rings foam fist.

The 2010 and 2012 World Series trophies will be on display at “Authentic Opening Day” and fans will have the opportunity to take pictures with the trophies.
