COMCAST SPORTSNET ANNOUNCES ON-AIR TALENT LINEUP FOR GIANTS & A’S PREGAME LIVE AND POSTGAME LIVE

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (March 26, 2013) – Comcast SportsNet, the home of “Authentic Bay Area Sports,” today announced its on-air talent lineup – analysts, correspondents and hosts – for its San Francisco Giants and Oakland A’s Pregame Live and Postgame Live shows for the 2013 MLB season.

Prior to Giants and A’s games, Giants Pregame Live and A’s Pregame Live will provide a preview of the upcoming contest, exclusive pregame interviews, feature stories on Giants and A’s players and the latest team news. Immediately following the game, Giants Postgame Live and A’s Postgame Live will provide in-depth game analysis, game highlights, clubhouse interviews with coaches and players, player reaction and a preview of the next contest.

 

Giants Pregame Live, Giants Postgame Live:

Expert analysis will be provided by Vida Blue, six-time All-Star and 1971 MVP and Cy Young Award winner; Bill Laskey (@laskey19), former Giants pitcher and six-year MLB veteran; Shawn Estes (@sestes55), former All-Star Giants pitcher and 13-year MLB veteran; and Rich Aurilia (@RichAurilia35), former All-Star Giants infielder and 15-year MLB veteran, alongside host and three-time California Sportscaster of the Year Greg Papa, CSNBayArea.com’s Giants Insider Andrew Baggarly (@CSNBaggs) and Giants reporter Mindi Bach (@MBachCSN).

Comcast SportsNet Bay Area’s first of 140 regular season telecasts begins with the Giants’ season opener against N.L. West rival Los Angeles Dodgers from Dodger Stadium on Monday, April 1 at 1 p.m.  Comcast SportsNet Bay Area will air the Giants’ home opener against the 2012 N.L. Wildcard Champion St. Louis Cardinals on Friday, April 5 at 1:30 p.m.

 

A’s Pregame Live, A’s Postgame Live:

The A’s analyst duo of former A’s infielders Bip Roberts (@Bipster10) – former All-Star and 12-year MLB veteran – and Shooty Babitt – MLB scout and Oakland native – will provide insightful analysis alongside veteran sportscaster Scott Reiss (@ScottReissCSN), CSNCalifornia.com’s A’s Insider Casey Pratt (@CaseyPrattCSN) and A’s reporter Kate Longworth (@KLongworthCSN).

Comcast SportsNet California’s first of 143 regular season telecasts begins with the A’s season opener against A.L. West Division rival Seattle Mariners from the Oakland Coliseum on Monday, April 1 at 7 p.m.
