COMCAST SPORTSNET TO CARRY MISSOURI VALLEY CONFERENCE TOURNEY ACTION BEGINNING THURSDAY NIGHT

Network to carry Opening Round games beginning Thursday (featuring Bradley, Drake, & SIU); Quarterfinals action on Friday (featuring #1 seed Creighton), plus – live coverage of both Semifinal battles on Saturday!

Chicago, IL (March 4, 2013) – Comcast SportsNet, the television home for the most games and the most comprehensive coverage of the Chicago Blackhawks, Bulls, Cubs and White Sox, will provide college hoops fans with exclusive local coverage of the always-thrilling Missouri Valley Conference men’s basketball tournament, taking place this week at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, MO.

 Comcast SportsNet’s coverage of “Arch Madness” begins Thursday, March 7 at 6:00 PM CT with live, Opening Round coverage of games featuring Bradley vs. Drake & Southern Illinois vs. Missouri State.  On Friday, March 8, the network carries the tourney’s first two quarterfinals match-ups (#1-seed Creighton vs. Bradley/Drake winner) at 12 NOON, followed by Evansville vs. Indiana State at 2:30 PM.  Finally, on Saturday, March 9, CSN will carry BOTH semifinal games LIVE beginning at 1:30 PM.

 In addition, Comcast SportsNet will also carry live coverage of the Big East women’s tournament on Saturday, March 9 with live second round/Game 1 coverage at 11:00 AM & Game 4 coverage at 7:00 PM.  Next weekend, CSN will air live coverage of the MVC women’s tournament featuring both semifinals contests on Saturday, March 16 (beginning at 1:30 PM) and the championship game on Sunday, March 17 at 2:00 PM.  Fans can also tune into SportsNet Central or visit CSNChicago.com throughout the month of March for on-going NCAA tournament season updates.
