COMCAST SPORTSNET & CSNCHICAGO.COM TO AIR LIVE COVERAGE OF THE “15TH ANNUAL WORLDWIDE TOAST TO HARRY CARAY

CSN’s “SportsTalk Live”, along with a live stream on CSNChicago.com, to air the annual toast to the legendary HOF announcer LIVE from Harry Caray’s Tavern at Navy Pier TOMMOROW (Feb. 28) at 5:30 PM CT!

 Chicago, IL (February 27, 2013) – Comcast SportsNet, the television home for the most games and the most comprehensive coverage of the Chicago Blackhawks, Bulls, Cubs and White Sox, along with CSNChicago.com, will provide fans with a special treat tomorrow (Thursday, February 28) as we’ll go LIVE to Harry Caray’s Tavern at Chicago’s Navy Pier for the “15th Annual Worldwide Toast to Harry Caray.”

CSN’s SportsTalk Live presented by Smirnoff will carry this year’s special ceremony beginning at 5:30 PM CT, which will include interviews with a number of celebrities and VIPs on hand to honor the 15-year passing of the great Hall of Fame broadcaster.

In addition, Comcast SportsNet’s website (CSNChicago.com) will provide fans with a LIVE STREAM of the event beginning at approx. 5:20 PM CT.  The ceremony, emceed by Roe Conn & Richard Roeper of WLS-AM 890, will feature Cubs Chairman Tom Ricketts opening up the festivities, which will include Blackhawks national anthem soloist Jim Cornelison leading the crowd with a singing of Harry’s favorite tune, “Take Me Out to the Ballgame.”
