Comcast SportsNet Celebrates Charles Barkley’s Birthday “Barkley at 50” Premieres on February 20 at 7 p.m.

PHILADELPHIA- (February 14, 2013) – Comcast SportsNet celebrates Charles Barkley’s 50th birthday with an original special, “Barkley at 50,” airing on Wednesday, February 20 at 7 p.m.

Comcast SportsNet’s Neil Hartman is joined by Barkley, and his former coach and current CSN analyst, Jim Lynam, for this relaxed sit-down interview. The always outspoken Barkley reminisces about his life as he turns 50, his aspirations to return to the NBA, and shares some great stories about his former Sixers teammates and coaches including Lynam, who was the Sixers GM when he traded Barkley from Philadelphia in 1992. Lynam and Barkley talk candidly about that move.

Viewers will also go behind the scenes as Barkley prepares for his TNT broadcast at the Wells Fargo Center, and reflects back on his number being retired in the rafters.

“If you are a Barkley fan, this is a can’t miss opportunity to hear Charles and his coach relive some significant moments in his career, including some hilarious stories,” said Hartman.

“Barkley at 50” premieres on Comcast SportsNet on Wednesday, February 20 at 7 p.m. and will replay on Friday, February 22 at 4:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.; and Saturday, February 23 at 11:30 p.m.  The program will air on The Comcast Network on Sunday, February 24 at 6:30 p.m.
