COMCAST SPORTSNET TO AIR ADDITIONAL NHL “EXTRA” TELECASTS FEATURING TOP TEAMS FROM AROUND THE LEAGUE

First of five additional NHL “Extra” telecasts airs President’s Day afternoon (Mon, Feb. 18) featuring Philadelphia at NY Islanders

Chicago, IL (February 12, 2013) – Comcast SportsNet Chicago, the television home for the most games and most comprehensive coverage of the NHL league-leading 10-0-2 Chicago Blackhawks, is ready to deliver even more NHL excitement to its viewers with the addition of five, live, out-of-market NHL “Extra” telecasts featuring top teams and players from around the league.

Through a programming arrangement with the NHL, NBC Sports Network and other Comcast SportsNet regional networks, Comcast SportsNet Chicago’s first NHL “Extra” telecast takes place on President’s Day Monday, February 18 at 12 NOON as the Philadelphia Flyers travel to face the New York Islanders in an Eastern Conference showdown.  Additional NHL “Extra” games on Comcast SportsNet’s schedule feature the Eastern Conference-leading New Jersey Devils, along with Washington, San Jose, Winnipeg and Minnesota.

In addition, CSNChicago.com’s “BlackhawksTalk” section will preview selected games and offer insights on league developments impacting the Blackhawks throughout the regular season.  Please note the following outer market NHL “Extra” schedule on Comcast SportsNet Chicago:
