SAN FRANCISCO, CA (February 8, 2013) – Comcast SportsNet, the home of “Authentic Bay Area Sports,” will provide San Francisco Giants and Oakland A’s fans the region’s most in-depth on-air and online Cactus League coverage beginning Monday, Feb. 11 and continuing throughout spring training, with live reports from Arizona on Chronicle Live, SportsNet Central and CSNBayArea.com/CSNCalifornia.com.  Additionally, the network will air five spring training games (three Giants and two A’s).

 

Chronicle Live, presented by Farmers Insurance (Monday-Friday at 5 p.m.), and hosted by Jim Kozimor (@CSNKoz), and SportsNet Central, the network’s signature news show, presented by AT&T U-verse (6 p.m.) & Hyundai (10:30 p.m.), will provide daily, live reports from Phoenix with A’s reporter Kate Longworth (@KLongworthCSN) and A’s Insider Casey Pratt (@CaseyPrattCSN) and from Scottsdale with Giants reporter Ahmed Fareed (@AhmedFareedCSN) and Giants Insider Andrew Baggarly (@CSNBaggs); player updates and progress reports; interviews with players, front office staff and local and national baseball experts; and news from around Major League Baseball and spring training.  SportsNet Central: Raising Arizona, a live half-hour show with the latest team developments and analysis, airs Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. with re-airs that evening.

Comcast SportsNet Bay Area will telecast three Giants preseason games this season, two from Scottsdale Stadium against the San Diego Padres (March 12) and the Oakland A’s (March 23), and a Bay Bridge Series game against the A’s at AT&T Park (March 28).

 

Comcast SportsNet California will air two A’s preseason games – the first on Sunday, March 24 at 1 p.m. against the Los Angeles Dodgers from Phoenix Municipal Stadium and the second on Saturday, March 30 at 1 p.m. versus the San Francisco Giants from Oakland.
