New York – January 22, 2013 - Emmy-nominated NFL Turning Point, NBC Sports Network’s weekly NFL show co-produced by NFL Films, airs tomorrow night at 10 p.m. ET with a special AFC/NFC Conference Championship edition. In this week’s episode: NFL Turning Point examines Joe Flacco and the Baltimore Ravens’ AFC Championship win over Tom Brady and the New England Patriots; and Colin Kaepernick and the San Francisco 49ers’ NFC Championship victory over Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons.

Hosted by Football Night In America’s Dan Patrick, the hour-long program airs throughout the entire NFL season.

- NFL Turning Point takes and in-depth look at San Francisco’s come-from-behind win over Atlanta. The episode breaks down the game, including the Falcons offensive charged first half, and how the 49ers came back from an early 17-0 deficit. NFL Films also explores the matchup between 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick and Falcons QB Matt Ryan. 49ers ILB NaVorro Bowman, FB Bruce Miller and Falcons head coach Mike Smith were all wired for sound during the game.

- This week’s edition of NFL Turning Point also shines a spotlight on the Ravens-Patriots AFC Championship game. The segment reviews how the Ravens defense was able to consistently handle the Patriots’ hurry-up offense. NFL Turning Point examines the fourth quarter fumble by Patriots RB Stevan Ridley and the subsequent touchdown drive by the Ravens that allowed Baltimore to take a 28-13 lead. Ravens head coach John Harbaugh, S Ed Reed and Patriots CB Devin McCourty were wired for sound.

A new edition of NFL Turning Point will air next Tuesday at 10:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network. The show will include a look back at the 2012-13 NFL season and will preview Super Bowl XLVII. The season finale of NFL Turning Point will air on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, and will look back at the turning point of Super Bowl XLVII.

Each week NFL Turning Point is built around select NFL match-ups from the previous weekend, and focuses on the crucial “turning point” moments that ultimately defined the outcome of each game. The show features anatomy-of-a-play type segments and long form, Game-of-the-Week style narratives that includes the pre-game and post-game access, sideline sounds, jaw-dropping cinematography and incredible storytelling that is synonymous with NFL Films.
