RUSSELL WILSON AND ANDREW LUCK HIGHLIGHT THIS WEEK’S EPISODE OF “NFL TURNING POINT”

Airs Wednesday at 11 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network In-Depth Look at Week 13 Matchups Between Steelers – Ravens, Seahawks – Bears Spotlight Look at the Colts Comeback Against the Lions

New York – December 4, 2012 – Emmy-nominated NFL Turning Point, NBC Sports Network’s weekly NFL show co-produced by NFL Films, airs this Wednesday at 11 p.m. ET. In this week’s episode: NFL Turning Point examines Charlie Batch and the Pittsburgh Steelers fourth quarter comeback against Joe Flacco and the Baltimore Ravens; Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks dramatic overtime victory over the Chicago Bears; and a spotlight look at Indianapolis QB Andrew Luck and the Colts come-from-behind win to top the Lions.

In addition, Football Night In America’s Tony Dungy and Rodney Harrison will break down the keys to this Sunday night’s Lions–Packers matchup, airing on NBC.

Hosted by Football Night In America’s Dan Patrick, the hour-long program airs throughout the entire NFL season, including the playoffs and Super Bowl.

– An in-depth look at the Steelers-Ravens, and how back-up QB Charlie Batch and the Steelers were able to beat AFC North rival Joe Flacco and the Ravens. NFL Turning Point examines the consistent play of Batch on Sunday. In addition, NFL Films highlights the Steelers defense and how the unit was inspired by the return of safety Troy Polamalu.

NFL Turning Point also explores the Seahawks-Bears, and how Seattle’s rookie QB Russell Wilson was able to lead the team to an overtime victory against Chicago. NFLFilms breaks down the Seahawks’ 12-play, 97-yard drive in the fourth quarter, including Wilson’s 14-yard touchdown pass to WR Golden Tate.The segment also examines howWilson orchestrated the 12-play, 80-yard drive on the first possession of overtime to give the Seahawks the win.

– The program shines a spotlight on the Indianapolis Colts and rookie QB Andrew Luck. NFL Films reviews the Colts comeback against the Lions, including how Luck directed touchdown drives of 85 and 75-yards in the final minutes of the game to overcome the team’s 12-point deficit.

Football Night In America’s Rodney Harrison and Tony Dungy will breakdown the keys to this Sunday’s Lions – Packers matchup. Dungy and Harrison will look back at the Week 11 contest between the two teams, and the Turning Point that decided that game.

Each week NFL Turning Point will be built around select NFL match-ups from the previous weekend, and will focus on the crucial “Turning Point” moments that ultimately defined the outcome of each game. The show will feature anatomy-of-a-play type segments and long form, Game-of-the-Week style narratives that include the pre-game and post-game access, sideline sounds, jaw-dropping cinematography and incredible storytelling that is synonymous with NFL Films.

Earlier this year NFL Films and NBC Sports Group agreed to renew the Emmy-nominated NFL Turning Point, for the 2012, 2013, and 2014 seasons. This year, NBC Sports Network will air a total of 22 episodes, running throughout the entire NFL season, including the playoffs and Super Bowl. The season finale, scheduled to air on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, will look back at the turning point of Super Bowl XLVII.
