NEW YORK – November 20, 2012 – On Thursday night, NBC will begin a new tradition with its first ever NFL primetime game on Thanksgiving. Tom Brady and the New England Patriots (7-3) will travel to MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. to take on Mark Sanchez and the New York Jets (4-6). The broadcast of the game begins with legendary NFL coach and analyst John Madden’s take on family, football and tradition. NBC will wrap up the night by presenting the first annual “Madden Thanksgiving Player-of-the-Game” award. Coverage begins with Football Night in America at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.During half-time of the game, Grammy Award-winner Lenny Kravitz will perform a special Thanksgiving concert on the field and for viewers at home.

NBC’s coverage of the 2012-13 NFL season continues on Sunday night when Eli Manning and the New York Giants (6-4) host Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers (7-3) on Sunday Night Football. Coverage begins with Football Night in America at 7 p.m. ET on NBC.

Calling Patriots-Jets and Packers-Giants is six-time Emmy Award-winner Al Michaels (play-by-play), in his 27th season as the voice of the NFL’s premier primetime package; 13-time Emmy Award-winner Cris Collinsworth, who has won the Emmy for Outstanding Event Analyst in each of his three seasons in the Sunday Night Football booth; and sideline reporter Michele Tafoya, who, last year in her first season with SNF, won the inaugural Emmy Award for Outstanding Sports Reporter.

Football Night in America is hosted by 24-time Emmy Award-winner Bob Costas, who will report from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. Costas will be joined on site by Michaels, and Collinsworth.

On Thursday night, Costas will host a special Thanksgiving edition of Football Night In America from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ., and will be joined on site by Dan Patrick, Super Bowl-winning head coach Tony Dungy, and two-time Super Bowl winner Rodney Harrison.

On Sunday night, Costas will again report from MetLife Stadiumin East Rutherford, NJ.,andwill be joined on site by Hines Ward, the former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver and Super Bowl MVP.

Dan Patrick will co-host Football Night from NBC’s Studio 8G at 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Patrick will be joined in studio by Dungy, Harrison, Peter King of Sports Illustrated, and Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk on NBC Sports Network and NBCSports.com.

NFL TURNING POINT WEDNESDAY AT 10 P.M. ET ON NBC SPORTS NETWORK

Emmy-nominated NFL Turning Point, NBC Sports Network’s weekly NFL show co-produced by NFL Films, airs tomorrow night at 10:00 p.m. ET. In this week’s episode: NFL Turning Point examines how Tom Brady and the New England Patriots outplayed Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts; how Aaron Rodgers lifted the Green Bay Packers over the Detroit Lions; and a spotlight look at the Baltimore Ravens defense. In addition, Football Night In America’s Tony Dungy and Rodney Harrison will breakdown the keys to this Sunday’s Green Bay Packers New York Giants matchup.

Hosted by Football Night In America’s Dan Patrick, the hour-long program airs throughout the entire NFL season, including the playoffs and Super Bowl.

PRO FOOTBALL TALK ON NBC SPORTS NETWORK WEEKNIGHTS, 5 P.M. ET

Mike Florio, who created the innovative, NFL-focused web destination ProFootballTalk.com, hosts the new NBC Sports Network television program Pro Football Talk. The one-hour show airs weeknights at 5 p.m. ET every Monday through Friday. Pro Football Talk is co-hosted by Erik Kuselias.

Pro Football Talk features concentrated NFL insight from Florio and other experts from around the league. Florio and Kuselias will regularly welcome a roster of NBC Sports football commentators, including Rodney Harrison, Hines Ward, Doug Flutie, Ross Tucker, Amani Toomer, and Peter King, among others. In addition to deep diving on the most topical NFL stories of the day, Pro Football Talk will also touch on injuries, fantasy football and officiating.

SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBAL IS PRIMETIME TELEVISION’S NO. 1 SHOW

Sunday Night Football is the No. 1 show of the primetime television season among viewers, households and all key adult and male demographics. Additionally, SNF ranks No. 4 among all primetime programs for women 18-34 and No. 5 among women 18-49. This marks the second consecutive season that Sunday Night Football is the No. 1 show of the primetime television season.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL THIS WEEKEND ON NBC AND NBC SPORTS NETWORK

BAYOU CLASSIC ON NBC: The NBC Sports Group concludes its 2012 college football coverage this Saturday at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC with Southern University and Grambling State facing off in the annual Bayou Classic from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, La. Paul Burmeister will serve as the play-by-play announcer, joined in the booth by NFL Hall-of-Fame defensive back Rod Woodson. Lewis Johnson will report from the sidelines. Additionally, the halftime show for the Bayou Classic features the marching bands of both teams putting on an exciting display of talent for the fans which includes a drum line battle between the bands. This marks the 22nd year NBC will present the Bayou Classic.

AIR FORCE-FRESNO ST. ON NBC SPORTS NETWORK: Fresno State hosts Air Force in a Mountain West Conference regular-season finale at 3:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network. Fresno State is currently in a three-way tie at the top of the conference, with Air Force just sitting one game back. Todd Harris will call the Air Force-Fresno St. game alongside analyst Anthony Herron from Jim Sweeney Field at Bulldog Stadium in Fresno, Calif.

NBC will broadcast 19 primetime NFL games during the 2012 season, highlighted by: the Super Bowl Champion New York Giants hosting their division rivals the Dallas Cowboys on NFL Kickoff 2012; storied rivalries such as Steelers-Ravens, Eagles-Cowboys, and Giants-Eagles; two games featuring Peyton Manning with his new team the Denver Broncos – hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers on the first SNF game of the season, and the New Orleans Saints in Week 8; and NBC’s first Thanksgiving night game, featuring New England Patriots at the New York Jets.
